This is my parents home. It was mine for a large portion of my life. It’s two doors down from my first home and next door to my current home. I also work on the other side of my parents home. It’s in the center of everything around me. But it’s not the core of my life. Christ is the core of my life. In my relationship with Christ I’ve learned to see my circumstances and understand how to treat them. It’s hard to live where you work and work with your family. But it’s taught me patience, discernment, how to forgive, and how to love. After a lot of stupid life decisions this is the place I want to turn back to. No matter how much you may disagree with your family on things they say or do, they are always the ones still standing behind you trying to tell you they love you. Everyone, including your family will make mistakes that have negative consequences. But with Christ in your heart and Gods word in your hand at your disposal, you learn to forgive them in a way that draws you closer to them.
