Style Advice

The Mustard Pant

Mustard pants are much easier to wear than you think. You can wear them with a gray sweater and boat shoes, or pair them with a white button-up shirt and a navy sport coat. The combinations are endless.

A pair of mustard pants are an essential item in every man’s closet — they’ll work as well in the fall as they will in the spring.

Editorial

You Can’t Not Say ‘I Do’

Hunter & Gatti deliver yet another showstopping editorial. I’m a big fan of their work and hope to one day have the opportunity to work with them.

This time, the dynamic duo brought their creative eye to a bridal-theme editorial for VOGUE Spain with red-head bombshell, Beegee Margenyte, as their main subject. Total babe! I’m happy to learn that I’m not the only one that thinks this is how a modern bride should look like.

The photos are stunning — and to me, somewhat reminiscent of Rihanna’s LOUD album packaging.

What I Wore

Till The Sun Turns Black

Suit: ZARA

Shirt: H&M

Tie: H&M

Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Shoes: Antoine+Stanley

There is a suit for every size and every occasion. First, be honest with yourself and buy short-length suits or take your suits to a tailor to have them altered if you need to. If you’re on the shorter side, a good way to stretch you out and elongate your torso is choosing two-button suits with low button stances.

Nothing dictates a suit’s character more than its lapel. For a modern look, I opted for a two-button jacket with a lapel that is about two inches at its widest point which I can wear with just about any type of shoe, from a lace-up to a sneaker. I suggest staying away from the three-button suits, they tend to be boxy. Finally, I traded my white oxford shirt for a denim one and added a touch of “cool” with a pair of Ray-Ban wayfarers.
