i don’t have any astronomical news regarding my activity here. my last post was almost 11 months ago when my mother passed away and just the last month has been easier than the last 10. i’m currently packing the rest of her stuff away into storage, looking to still move out of my apartment while working 40+hr job.

hi, i’m an essential worker and from the initial announcement of this pandemic; i’ve been stuck at my job 40+hrs catering to the general public that should be staying home, customers picking daily arguments with me over new processes and polices corporate craps out over night, the minimal heath care staff that appears at my store in the middle of the dead and the like. honestly? people suck. the general public sucks. i love hearing about your struggle to just stay home and i’m standing behind the counter required to be here, you know, for you. sorry Karen? i am the manager and i don’t give a flying fuck that you’ve been stuck in your house for 16 days, thanks. I rather be home myself than deal with you.

i’m gonna be pretty quiet the next month or two.

my mother passed away tuesday evening and just supporting myself and my family members have been the most taxing and draining thing i’ve ever done in my life.

i feel incredibly heavy and empty as an individual. but i’m going to move forward and do what’s best for my father and myself. it’s just us and my other relatives now who are dealing with their own problems. i’m having a few of them come over and help me start the process of sorting, organizing and just doing something with my mothers’ belongings. leaving them here isn’t healthy and it makes it harder to breathe. this process could take a few months, dealing with the current issues of insurance companies and hospitals right now is the most exhausting thing so far and it’s gonna get harder. it’s not gonna stop. i feel empty but i know logically this isn’t what she would want for us to feel like and to live like. so i’ll be taking a break here and focusing on family for a couple of months.

i’m currently leaving the house and going on an adventure to get her to come home sooner with the death certificate.

when's the next office meeting

RATHER LIKE A CAT, the boy comes as goes as he pleases with little to no respect to whatever boundaries that may exist. Currently, Vanitas does as what most cats love to do, by seating himself in a position that impedes any and all work, knocking aside pens and sending reports fluttering away. Xemnas manages to snatch one in mid-flight, his efforts only doing more harm than good by nearly crumpling the page into a ball.

He lays the ruined report on what little surface of his desk is left, trying his best to smooth it open, but looking at the wrinkles across the page, he decides that it is only an exercise in futility. This is what Vanitas does to the little peace and quiet Xemnas manages find in the chaostic thrum of their new Organization. Of all the members, the boy would choose to follow him. As though sensing that the Superior had grown too comfortable, too content with his solitude.  

Never, he wants to answer, but it would mean nothing. As if telling the boy to leave him be would matter. All he can do is plant a hand on a wiry bicep and shove, hard, sending Vanitas crashing into a heap beside his desk.
