Thailand Express ღ Hwasol
The reaction out of Hwayoung had been slightly expected and Haesol leaned against the doorframe, happily watching her as she zoomed around the suite, large brown eyes full of excitement. Even if the trip would have ended at that moment, all of the money spent would have been worth the reaction and he felt completely satisfied as he stood, arms lazily crossed over one another while he hesitated, unsure of how to even begin their vacation (because vacations don’t really begin until you unpack your things).
Haesol pulled their luggage inside and quietly observed the rooms, burning with jealously at how perfect the decoration was—a job done by someone who was far above Haesol’s own skill when it came to taste. Each detail was elegant and he took mental notes to take back to his own home, delighted to bring an intangible souvenir from Thailand. Hwayoung hardly had a glimpse into how important aesthetics were to the librarian and above all of the pieces of furniture and fine art copies adorning the walls, she was the best feature of the entire hotel and he couldn’t help but smile as she popped her head out of the bathroom at him.
“Maybe you should move into the bathroom, Hwa,” Haesol joked, patting the top of her head as he moved to the bed, letting his body drop onto the mattress, sinking into the sheets that smelled fresh. The smell was almost intoxicating and it seemed to be begging him to sleep, but he fought sleep by rolling his body over the sheets in a childish manner, letting out a booming laugh that was uncharacteristic for the scholar. It wasn’t often that he let himself indulge in simple pleasures. “Maybe you should come to bed with me instead of gawking at the bathroom. I know that I could still use a nap,” he let out a yawn as he stretched out across the bed, pulling a menu from the nightstand and glancing over it, hardly reading any of the words, but admiring the detail of such a small, seemingly unimportant piece of literature. “Or maybe we could get a bottle of champagne and start this vacation right,” Haesol let out suggestively in a low tone, holding back his laughter with his entire being and winking up at Hwayoung, who he hoped could see past his ‘humor’.
Haesol was moving around while Hwayoung admired the grandness of the bathroom, her eyes glazing over all of it's perfection but she knew in her heart that the best thing in this entire hotel was in the other room. Haesol was the best thing there. In her eyes, this beautiful palace like room was suited for him. The colors and the aesthetically pleasing artwork were nothing compared to him. Everything about this man was like a painting with a story. The way he dressed told he was high-class and intelligent, his glasses were like a mask but only Hwayoung had seen his playful, gentle eyes truly. He was a living book that she wanted to read every chapter of again and again.
A chuckle came from her in the bathroom. "Maybe we could take a bath together to welcome me into my new room then, huh?" She teased from the bathroom. His words made her chuckle as she watched him roll around on the bed. "Cuddling does sound nice but as long as we get to go out to dinner. I'm not spending my first day in Thailand all indoors, Oppa." Hwayoung sat herself next to him on the bed, letting him lay his head on her lap. It was such a simple pleasure she indulged herself in when they just relaxed. Her eyes widen a little at his suggestion, worried until she saw his wink and laughed. "Oppa. Don't joke about that but champagne would be nice to celebrate our first trip together, huh?" She lightly ran her fingers through the male's hair, smiling down at him.
"Let's just hang out here and relax until dinner. We've been up since early this morning." She suggested, tucking some hair behind her ear.
