Everyone’s excited for the best holiday of the year, Toy Day! But this year, it seems Jingle the reindeer got caught in a nasty snowstorm - and all of his presents fell out of his sleigh and all over town! Now it’s up to you to save Toy Day!

You can win: the ice series, the snowman series, the ski series, the snowtyke set, the jingle series, and more holiday items!

HOW TO PLAY:

Step 1. To be counted as a possible prize winner, be sure to reblog (Tumblr) or upvote (Reddit). We need to spread the holiday cheer!

Step 2. Go to the dream suite and enter the code 4800-2701-6116. 

Step 3. Don your Santa outfit and roam town looking for 9 presents. When you find a present, take a screenshot! You’ll need to unwrap them, so go ahead and do so.

Step 4. Now comes the hard part! You have to decide which present goes to which villager. Presents will be based on the villager’s species, goal, skill, and personality. You can check my blog for more information regarding my villagers!

Step 5. When you’ve decided which present should go to whom, drop the present in front of the respective villager’s house, and stand on it until the name of the item shows. Take a screenshot! 

Step 6. When you’re finished playing in Oakwood, send me the screenshots via a private message or ask. Publicly posting pictures of the presents’ location, etc will result in an automatic forfeit of your prizes!

Even if you can only find one present, you still win a prize!

Here are the prizes you can win for every present you find: 1. festive flag 2. festive candle 3. festive dress 4. snow globe 5. stuffed stocking 6. festive tree 7. holiday candle 8. big festive tree 9. full santa outfit!

(if you find 2 presents, you win both the festive candle and the festive flag, and so on)

For each gift you give to the correct villager, you win an item of your choice from the jingle series! Get all 9 right for the full series!

The first person to get all 9 right (or whoever finds the most gifts/gets the most right) can pick their choice of the following: ice set snowman set ski set snowtyke set

Second place gets their choice of three of the above sets, based on first place’s pick. 

Third place gets their choice of two sets, and fourth place gets the remaining set.

But that’s not all! Once every three days, I will randomly select someone who reblogged/liked this post (Tumblr) or commented on it (Reddit) to win a random winter-esque item. This could be a piece from the ice or snowman series, a glow wand, or anything else wintry!

New flowers for spring

Surfin TB was set out today into the world.  He started in a cache called Sleeping Beauty II.  We found this cache a long time ago and liked it, remembered that it was pretty large, so we lovingly sent him on his hopefully very long journey.  May he visit lots of places, and may he never find himself at the bottom of a caching bag for very long.

As many of you already know, a beautiful and preposterous game by the name of Glitch closed its doors two days ago. Even though Glitch is now gone, that doesn’t mean that Glitch inspired sharing of creativity has to go with it. Elendraug had the right idea when he started a giveaway for custom made Giant Icons, but sadly, that giveaway ended today. Now it’s my turn to pick up the slack.

PRIZE:

A custom crocheted plushie of your avatar in Glitch, lovingly made by yours truly.

It will measure about 7 inches tall, and while my avatar ended up being pretty simple, I’m not afraid of details. Also, the circle eyes, v-shaped mouth, and no ear or nose look is just a style I like, but I’m more than willing to accommodate to make your plushie look the way you want.

Also planted a bonsai, my first. We bought it at Summer Winds for $7.00. It's a Japanese red maple. After me ignoring it for two days, it got rather droopy. I read a book and watched some YouTube videos about how to repot it.

Ana and grandma working together to plant a vine, Mandevilla "Sun Parasol Giant Crimson."  We also planted Tibouchina Urvilleana "Princess Flower" in a pot.  More pictures to come once we've done more!

Cleared out!  We had the walls pressure washed on Oct. 5th, 2012 and the decorative window caulked, but he didn't do a very good job.  He said he also cleaned out the gutters.
