Loki has been sleeping around.
“If this is true, I’d expect Loki to have the spine to tell me himself. I don’t need to hear it from you.”
thunderous-thor:
“I’m not fucking defensive, just keep your pretty little nose out of it,” Thor huffed, hating even more hearing the pleasure about the whole thing in her voice. He hated how exposed that made him feel and pulled his hoodie a little tighter around his body as he got out of the car, a deep frown cut into his face. At least for a second until Amora had to speak again, enough for him to huff out a sort of laugh and roll his eyes. "Now that’s honest, be in it for the stuff. That I can get behind. I think Kanye wrote a song about that before he went crazy. You know, ’she ain’t messing with no broke-’ you know.“
Thor stuffed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie and sighed a little. That was true at least. Loki cared about a whole shit ton of shit that Thor couldn’t even bother with. "Jesus, fine, I’ll do better to stay off the front page, if that makes you both feel better.” He snorted. "That’s for fucking people, I don’t know how to use that for the power of good. But I got my talents where I got them. Good sex helps people. It’s a public service.“ He opened the door to the coffee shop and shrugged. "Actually I do. Humor me for a second. Tell me what you think.”
“That sounds a lot like defensive to me.” She replied with a snicker, before dropping the subject. It did seem odd to her how defensive he was of his deadbeat roommate, but that was for another day’s prying. “I think he was always crazy.” She frowned, “Besides, I have a job, and my own income, which I don’t believe the woman in that song had.” She huffed.
“It would make me feel better if I believed you.” She laughed humourlessly, nodding to one of the waiters as she walked through the door and they were showed to a small table. They knew her here, just one of the perks of being a high ranking person in government. “Uh-huh, we should make it a public health initiative, sex with Thor Odinson will cure all of your woes.” She muttered sarcastically, waiting until they were both seated before continuing. “I think the best thing you can do for his career is disappear.” She told him matter-of-factly, though, for once, her voice carried little malice. “Of course, your brother doesn’t want that, no matter what you do.” She let out a sigh, “If you really want to help him, maybe you should ask what he wants from you. You take his money and you take his bailouts, but you’re barely around enough to call yourself his brother. He cares about you, I’m sure your support would be valuable.”
spidcrsenses:
“Seems like a no brainer that you’d want to get rid of the smell, but I suppose I think differently than the politicians.” Peter hummed softly, furrowing his eyebrows for a moment. He’d heard complaints by people passing by about the Mayor, he never really paid much attention to it though. Of all the things he was up to speed on, local politics was on the very bottom of that list. His mind was rather occupied. “So you work for the Mayor then? That’s got to be… interesting.”
“Mmhm, it is.” She nodded, a light smile ghosting her lips. She liked the power -- or, the illusion of it -- more than anything else, but she couldn’t very well go around telling people that, so she spat out one of her stock-standard explanations, “It’s nice to know we’re making a difference, even if it’s small, and slow. Deerfield is a good town, it deserves to be improved and maintained in any way we can manage.”

Stephen weathered the none too subtle once-over with the tired patience of someone who got that a lot, stepping across the threshold to settle into the indicated chair. “Thank you,” he murmured absently when she slid him the papers, already starting to page through them with a critical eye when Amora spoke again, and he glanced up to take the proffered pen. After a brief pause as if to ascertain if she was joking, Stephen gave his head a quick shake. “I run the veterinary clinic and shelter in town, along with my partner. So I guess you could say it’s rather more a professional interest.”
“Hmm, cute.” Amora hummed, tossing a loose strand of hair over her shoulder as she leant back in her chair. Small talk wasn’t something she was particularly fond of, especially when she could see no material way in which it would benefit her in the near future. This was one such occasion. “You sure you’re going to have time for all that?” She asked, a slight frown creasing her forehead. She didn’t particularly care, but it did seem like a lot to be taking on, and she liked listening to people trying to justify themselves. “It seems odd that we haven’t met before.”
ohmyl0ki:
“Uh huh.” He said letting his mind melt with the steam and hot water. He lifted his arm and wrapped it around her shoulder. He listen to the sounds out in front of him. He enjoyed his back yard. “We should go on vacation. Somewhere warm. ” He ran his fingers up and down her neck with his fingertips. “I know it’s impossible right now.” He lifted his feet forward, letting them float out in front of him
“Vacation?” Amora repeated, immediately perking up at the idea. Running a town was thrilling, yes, but so was jetting away to a foreign place without another word. She nodded slowly, of course, they couldn’t simply neglect their duties, Loki especially. This is what you wanted. Some voice in the back of her head hissed, she couldn’t lust for a lifestyle that was incompatible with her dreams. “When everything quietens down,” She agreed, “Maybe Hawaii.”
Would you sleep with Thor if you could? He wants that.
“What do you mean ‘if I could’? There’s nothing stopping me from sleeping with him. If I wanted to, I would have. If he wants something to happen, shouldn’t that stay private?”
ohmyl0ki:
You are aware I can see this?
“Yes, I just said I wasn’t interested.”
She is using you. She can't stand being around you. She would trade you for Thor in a heartbeat.
ohmyl0ki:
“ok. I will be home soon enough. We should talk.”
“That sounds ominous.”

Loki removed his shirt and pants. He stepped into the hot tub with his boxers on. He heard her question. “I get these visions. They do not make sense.” He knew he must sound insane. “I am sure it’s nothing more than stress.” He lean back against the rail of the hot tub and looked up at the stars.
Loki had a lot on his mind. How he would be a mayor. How he would handle these thoughts and the biggest thing on his mind. The large diamond ring weighing down on his inside of his jacket dress pocket. The question on the tip of his tongue for Amora. It was never the perfect moment and what if she said no ? He wasn’t one for rejection.
“You’re sure it’s just stress?” Amora questioned, pulling her dress over her head and following him into the hot tub with only her underwear. ‘Visions’ didn’t sound very reassuring, but if Loki assured her he was okay, then she would believe him.
Leaning against the side of the hot tub, Amora rested her head against his shoulder, letting out a deep sigh. “This is nice, isn’t it?”
thunderous-thor:
Thor didn’t have very many tender parts, he had steeled himself over to just about anything, but something about bringing up Peter in any kind of light that approached the negative made him flare up. "Fuck off about Pete, okay,“ he said and sighed a little, running his fingers through his hair. "Whatever. It sounds annoying,” he said trying to shake off that little flare of real anger that had flared up inside of him. "But hey, good for you for biting the bullet and being boring so the rest of us don’t have to,“ he said and gave her a cheesy kind of grin, still trying to cover.
He rolled his eyes a moment later, the second Amora started talking about shit like ‘legacy’. "I don’t give a shit about Loki’s legacy,” he said, and that was true. The whole legacy of his family could burn for as far as Thor cared about it. "Do you really think, Amora, that I have anything significant about me? What fucking skills do I have that can make any kind of difference?“ He bit at the inside of his cheek and sighed, shaking his head a little. He swung out of the car when it came to a stop and nodded. "I know, one coffee.” He stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Really, though, what do you think I could do to help him? I’m not trying to fuck up his life completely.“
“Ooh, don’t get defensive.” Amora tittered, feeling a strange sense of satisfaction when she realised she had hit a nerve. “Wouldn’t want me thinking you have that elusive third emotion.” She added, stepping out of the car and starting off towards the cafe, glancing sideways to see if Thor was following. “If being boring gets me a nice house and a fancy car, then I’ll gladly bite that bullet.” She turned to sneer, before whipping her head back around, feeling her hair blow back in the light breeze.
“You should. He cares about it.” She muttered, shaking her head slightly. More importantly, Amora cared about it, and Thor was making her task of maintaining Loki’s public image and status all the more difficult. “You have a natural charisma and a charming smile.” She answered jokingly, rolling her eyes. She couldn’t stand self pity. It wasn’t her job to assure Thor of his own worth, nor was it to feel any sort of pity for him. “You don’t want to know my answer to that.”

Ah, bureaucracy. Small-town bureaucracy, to boot. Stephen wandered through the town hall with an air of vague discomfort and a business card bearing the name ‘Amora’ in his fingertips, given to him by Loki with the assurance she could help him with the paperwork in regards to his new committee appointment. His mind was starting to wander into ruminations of how glad he was he never had to deal with the DMV anymore, at least, when finally he spotted an office bearing the nameplate that matched the card, stepping inside when he heard her voice and pausing to take in the sight of the overencumbered desk as well as the woman behind it.
“I’m– Stephen Strange,” he started, then paused to see if Amora would finish up with her nails enough to address him properly. “The mayor appointed me chairman of the animal welfare committee. I’m dropping by to… fill out paperwork,” he assumed, but not without a skeptical glance at the seemingly neglected piles of forms already littering her desk.
Amora only glanced up when she heard the man speak, dragging the file over her nails one final time before placing it down on her desk carefully, straightening it against a stack of paperwork before turning her attention towards the man who was currently lingering in her doorway. She gave him a deliberate once-over, eyes tracing up and down his figure slowly. “Pleasure.” She purred, gesturing for Stephen to take a seat opposite her. “The Mayor mentioned you were coming.” She drawled, leaning forward to rest her elbows against the desk. Truth be told, she’d forgotten all about the meeting until moments ago. It wasn’t something she saw as terribly important, after all.
Swivelling in her chair, Amora flicked through one of the stacks upon her desk, settling on a selection of documents that had been marked with a pink post it tab, pulling it out from under the other papers without so much as disturbing the thin layer of dust that had started to settle on top. She set the papers out in front of Stephen, grabbing a pen out of one of the drawers and twirling it between her fingers before holding it out for Stephen. “So, animal welfare?” She ventured, “Thought it’d be a fun hobby or what?”
Do you miss asgard?
“What in the world is Asgard?”
She is using you. She can't stand being around you. She would trade you for Thor in a heartbeat.
ohmyl0ki:
“Do you though? Desire him?”
“Of course not.” Amora shook her head slowly, “I desire you.”
She is using you. She can't stand being around you. She would trade you for Thor in a heartbeat.
“Oh, don’t listen to them, darling. They’re jealous, it’s nothing more than that.”
Would you sleep with Thor if you could? He wants that.
“What do you mean ‘if I could’? There’s nothing stopping me from sleeping with him. If I wanted to, I would have. If he wants something to happen, shouldn’t that stay private?”

Loki laughed. He went back over to the sofa and sat down. He grabbed the remote and put on some lite classical music for background noise. “Of course my dear, we wouldn’t want anyone tracking dirt in our house. ” He was use to removing his shoes at the door. He lifted a brow and smiled. He looked into her eyes. He lean in fast after she kissed both his hand and stole a kiss on the lips for himself.
“My apologies. I been wanting to kiss you for quite some time."He lean in to see if he could get away with another kiss. He was inches from her lips. He felt the moment of dizzy come over his mind. He closed his eyes slowly before opening them and seeing ash around the frame of her face. This felt wicked.
His skin blue and cold in his mind. He took a deep breath and tried to shake it away this misplace vision. The vision didn’t make sense. He stood up. He extended his hand out. The ashes away from her face. He was back in the living room. It was another fake vision. "Shall we go into the hot tub?”“ He asked. She didn’t see any of it, did she?
“Not after I spent so long instructing the maids on how to clean it.” She giggled, her face still close to his. “I can’t say I blame you for that.” Amora replied with a light laugh, just a touch of narcissism shining through. She pulled back slightly, never eager to give too much away too quickly.
Amora’s brows drew together as she watched an odd expression flash across Loki’s face -- confusion, no. Almost... fear? -- and she took his hand skeptically as the moment seemed to pass. “I... sure.” She answered, trying to process what was going on. “What was that?” She asked, eyes narrowed.
