I’ll answer this for you. Movies/TV/Magazines are meant to appeal to as many people as possible. They need to sell. Fat women are not traditionally attractive to most people, just like neither are most obviously underweight people. That being said of course they are going to put traditionally attractive people into things that need to sell.

Its the same with men. There is a reason why Thor isn’t a fat or underweight guy. Muscular men appeal to most women so that’s why they use. The “issue” isn’t gender specific.

This has always been the case and will forever be the case in terms of advertising. It doesn’t need to change because it makes no sense to. It’s just the business.

I wish there was a small online army of racially diverse pagans who would make a point of antagonizing all the privileged White social justice warriors this time of year for their “cultural appropriation” of Christmas. Since most of what we enjoy about Christmas is pagan rather than Christian, it may be time for the pagans to take it back.
