i told my dad the joke “dad jokes are just mom jokes that a man repeated louder” and he thought it was hilarious. he turned to my mother, intending to relay the joke to her, and a bare second after he opened his mouth i watched it dawn on his face that he was about to become the subject of the joke. when i tell you that man was slackjawed as he turned back to me, like he had an entire life altering realization in the span of about 20 seconds.
Zane flirting with P.I.X.A.L. is such a beautiful sight to behold.
Look at him getting all smug about the motherboard. Look at her little smirk in response. Look at these happy little robots and savor the moment because they are going to barely plot relevant for a good long while after this season.
I'm watching Possession right now and I need to talk about something. In episode 8, "The Crooked Path", Morro possesses Ronin. This possession (which lasted about 5 minutes max) leaves Morro on the ground, SHUDDERING and weak.
This is a testament to Lloyd's resolve. He's STANDING in the cage he's held in, able to speak more clearly than Ronin, and Lloyd has been possessed for days/weeks (however you want to see it). Either way, it's an extended period of time.
If anyone calls Lloyd weak, just show them that scene to prove them wrong because that is just insane. He's insane. Also he needs help what is wrong with him /lh
Re-watching possession and thinking about how horrifying Cole’s ghostafication really is.
He’s the elemental master of earth, the very ground that everyone lives on, it’s everywhere. For the other ninja, you can’t find fire everywhere you turn, lighting only strikes on occasion and snow on happens in the winter. I’d like to think that the ninja call upon their elements from the inside, from their core part—all except for Cole. In the tournament of sources, we see Cole giving instructions to Frak to reach down and push out not summon, not manifest but to manipulate what’s already there, what’s around you. Whenever we see Cole use his powers, he usually strikes/ hits the Earth first. Earth undoubtedly the element that requires the most worldly ties to. You have to feel your earth, you can’t summon it from no where. This makes the whole ‘Cole got turned into a ghost thing’ so much more horrifying. Cole can no longer touch or feel anything. Everything just passes through him and disappears, he no longer has any worldly ties. All of his connections to his own element, and by default one of the only connections he has left to his mom, has been severed completely. His depression of being a ghost goes so much more than ‘oh great, I’ve now become the thing I fear the most’.
Morro being so chill about being a ghost could either allude to the fact that he’s been a ghost for a while but it could also be bc he’s the EM of wind. Light, airy, flying and always flowing wind. It can go through the smallest holes and cracks. Morro also controls what’s around him much like Cole, but unlike Cole, becoming a ghost connected him to his element rather than sever him from it, he gained one of his greatest strengths out of being a ghost (becoming more in-tuned with his element) and Cole received one of his weaknesses from his element (being severed from it completely).

Of course Kai would enjoy being babied by his parents. Of course he would want to goof off over video games with his dad, doing normal father-son things. Of course he would love getting lunch made specially by his mom.
Kai was forced to grow up too fast. He remembers his parents before they were kidnapped, and all of his life he's missed the security and love that they gave him. No wonder he jumps at the opportunity to be pampered!
But you know what's just as heartbreaking? That Nya believes receiving parental affection is a weakness.
Of course she wouldn't want to become too attached to her parents, when her only experience with them is their absence. Of course she would keep her distance, since they've spent such little time investing in her life. Of course she would choose to rely on herself.
Nya was also forced up to grow too fast. But unlike Kai, she doesn't remember her parents. She only remembers her brother, the two of them trying to survive. If I had to guess, I don't think Kai was able to spend much time babying her. No wonder she would look down on her brother for going soft and accepting her parents' love- that's something she never had the opportunity to experience for herself.
