          BLINK  BLINK  BLINK  ━  Endorsi had never looked more DUMBFOUNDED in her whole life. (& She’d been alive for 300 years & surrounded by idiots for most of them). There was no way in Hell the great Yuri Jahad was asking her to spill her guts? To confide in HER? Claiming that she cared? I mean, sure, she’d saved her & Anaak that one time, but she’d also called her ugly & mentally ill in the process. Wasn’t like they were on...GOOD terms. “Pretend you’re not here...?” Derisive chuckle & a shake of her head; “But you ARE here, sister. And you’d probably flick my face off like you did with fluff boy if I told you how I feel. Besides, the walls have ears in this place. You know that better than anyone.” It wasn’t SAFE to talk about this sort of thing within the tower. Odds were someone, somewhere, was listening in.

Honestly, Jinx had heard it all before. Silco tended to prattle on and on when she came home all beat up. It was precisely why she’d learned to sneak past him and clean up her own messes. She knew a good amount of first-aid just from how many times she’d had to patch herself up. What she had never heard was that one word. Sweetie. Even when it was spoken in such a derisive tone, it left her with a strange feeling. Still, her face scrunched into a look of confusion. ❝ I’m not sweet? ❞

She laughed, shrugging as the girl came closer to her. ❝ No clue. Probably not from around here. You sound too spoiled for a place like this. ❞ Jinx simply let her leg fall to the side, revealing the wound. ❝ I told you, needle and thread and it’s good as new! ❞ She shrugged. ❝ Nothing I couldn’t handle.“ Her thumb jerked towards some general location. ❝ You should see the other guys. Mostly dead! ❞

The Firelights. She’d grown so used to them that the voices didn’t bother her much anymore. They said all the same things, about her former friend, her former life. ❝ Ugh… They’ve gotta stop trying to kill me, it’s annoying. Just wrap it up aaaand I’ll go from there. ❞

                                                          “ I’m not sweet? ”

          TEMPORARY HALT  ━  “Uh...” Way the strange blue-haired girl questioned the thoughtless pet name, threw her for a loop. The word “sweetie” had long lost its TRUE CONNOTATION so far as Endorsi was concerned. Back in the tower, her & her adoptive sisters oft tossed such pet names around in cruel & mocking manners. There were many times she’d MERCILESSLY SLAUGHTERED people whilst playfully calling them “sweetie.” Not a single one of them took it seriously ; This weirdo had. There was something almost...NAIVE & INNOCENT about that. Reminded her of someone. Heartstrings tugged painfully in her chest. “Ugh. It’s not meant to be taken literally. Idiot.” Deflection? More likely than you think. “Though, if you ask me, you must be kind of sweet to have reacted that way. Most people would have tried to punch me.” 

          “Too spoiled?” Guttural growl rumbled in her chest & she gripped TIGHTER at the stranger’s knee. Manicured nails burrowing into flesh as she pushed those scrawny chicken-legs apart. (If she weren’t careful she’d do more damage than good)  ━  ‘Breathe, Endorsi. Don’t let your anger get the best of you.’ Internal thought ricocheted around within her skull & FINALLY she loosened her grasp. “Mostly dead, but not ALL dead. I see some of those ugly mask guys lurking around.” What was this place? When she’d wished to leave the tower ; She’d kinda hoped to go somewhere NICE. Not this shithole. 

          PARANOID GAZE darted between the fashion-disasters in the alleyway & the stranger’s leg she’d begun wrapping  ━  Tightening the knot, her vest was secured in place & the princess was SWIFT to snatch up one of the pins on her dress. (Was actually a compressed arms inventory). With inhuman speed & accuracy, she flung the pin in their direction. It instantly expanded into a giant disk that blocked the alleyway & worked as a SHIELD. 

          “Alley-oop.” Endorsi slithered DECEPTIVELY STRONG arms around the other girl’s waist & chucked her up onto her shoulder. “Tell me where to take you, blue head.” Those masked morons were slamming on her Lapel Pin, but there was no chance in Hell they would get through. King Jahad himself had attempted to punch through with his bare fist & FAILED   ━  Picking a direction, the princess sped down one of the decrepit streets. “Oh, and you owe me a new vest! That cost thirty-thousand points!”
