Status report.
::Master! Excellent timing. We’re currently cleaning up the last of the stragglers and should have the ship fully in our control in like two breems.
::…That’s sixteen minutes, sorry.
::At that point we’re gonna need coordinates. In space, preferably. ‘Cause the ship’s not really meant for planetside, you know.::
>Excellent. Transmitting coordinates presently.
Following those coordinates would lead them pretty close to where NOS and Sideswipe had last met in person, where nobody would notice a gigantic ship suddenly appearing. He’d say “good work” when he saw the results.
::Received. I’ll let you know once we’re ready here:: Sideswipe didn’t close the connection on his end, because this really shouldn’t take that long.
And as promised, fifteen minutes and forty seconds later they declared the ship empty of hostiles and a satisfied titter was sent NOS’ way. ::Bridging over now.::
If NOS had a view of the location he’d sent coordinates for, that was about when a massive vortex of light formed at the spot, definitely alerting anyone who had any manner of sensors in the vicinity.
And then came the ship. Gigantic was just the perfect word for the size of it. Capital ships had a habit of being big anyway, but one built with Cybertronians and their potentially very large size in mind? It was big.
Really, really big.
And very, very dangerous. Which it also looked like, what with the dark, sleek and pointy look it had going on. It never did to underestimate the sheer intimidation factor you could cause.
It took a while for the whole ship to get through the space bridge, but once it did, missiles were fired from it into the portal. Whatever happened to them on the other side wasn’t exactly visible, but the portal collapsed only seconds after, so. They probably did what they were supposed to! ::All set and ready, master~:: Sideswipe announced next. ::Do you want to dock or bridge over?::
NOS couldn't help the impatient tapping of the claws poking out of his cape while he waited for Sideswipe to arrive. Not that his servant wasn't making good time, but he's just been so excited to get things underway.
Indeed, he'd arrived at the given coordinates mere minutes before Sideswipe and he had to admit that he's never seen anything quite like that. Sure, Zurg once pulled off a scheme involving teleporting planets, but NOS hadn't been there to see it himself. It's the biggest ship he's ever seen, too, dwarfing even the evil emperor's himself. Consider him impressed!
Well, it wouldn't do to just leave his own ship lying around, so... >>I'll dock. Good work, Sideswipe.<<
Can't really help the unrestrained excitement in his voice either, but Sideswipe would probably like that anyway.
