Accidentally hit "no" when Photoshop asked me if I wanted to save before closing I'm going to cry

Looking through this blog and god my linework is sooo messy asfhjllfghjl. What was I doing, clean that shit up lmao.

I'm reallllly missing drawing rn but I lost my tablet pen 😭 and I don't really feel like drawing traditionally. I've looked for it but my room's a mess so :/

#might just have to fork out $90 for a new one #also there is a possibility it is broken #and if I find it and it doesn't work I can get my brother to pay for it because he's the one who broke it #i haven't used it since he maybe broke it so idk #anyway back to the void I go #see you guys if I find my pen

currently doing the 100 heads challenge, where you draw 10 heads a day for 10 days. I’ve fallen behind a bit but I don’t really care if I make the deadline. here are some from today that I liked.

#I know I didn't draw much in 2019 but so little that I have not a SINGLE drawing in a sketchbook?#and drawings dated from 2018 are scarce too... my suspicion increases #did i do some su fanart when I rewatched it in october i think i did...#i don't have many digital drawings from 2019 but my tablet cord was broken for a while so #this is going to bother me so much is there a missing sketchbook or not??? I may never know

so glad my motivation to draw and thirst for improvement has returned 😊

#I'm drawing every day again and not because I'm forcing myself to but because I want to!#and I'm doing a good job of staying positive and not getting too hung up on my failures #and fighting back negative thoughts with a stick because I can improve and I am on the right track #and I will become a good artist and have fun getting there!#now I need to stop procrastinating and go feed my horses so I can get back to drawing

it’s hard not to get down on myself because if I had just kept drawing and studying I could have been so much better at art by now. I look back at my stuff from years ago and think wow I was on the right track, imagine if I had kept going. but I realize that wallowing in regret and self pity doesn’t get me anywhere. as the saying goes: the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.

so here I am once again on that hard and frustrating road of trying to become a better artist.

a great thing about fan art is you can draw your fave characters in any clothes you want. would they wear those clothes in canon? who cares, doesn’t matter, here in fan art land you can do whatever you want.

Omg? Dressage AU?? My interest is so piqued wow !!! Im a dressage rider myself and I always feel like it’s such an obscure thing for most people. I can totally see Yuuri as someone like Charlotte Dujardin, working his way up from obscurity to international fame.. but I digress. I’m excited to see what you do w it!! (my yoi tumblr is peachy-chulanont, so if there’s a bunch of weird notifications that’s probably it lol)

I’m so glad this au is getting well received! honestly I thought it’d get barely any attention because dressage is such a niche sport. the Yuri - Charlotte comparison is such a good one! in my mind I was basing Victor’s career partly off hers but really it suits Yuri much better.

I don’t really know yet what I’m doing with the AU, whether it’ll have some sort of linear ongoing story to it or if it will just be sketches here and there when I feel like it.. probably the latter but we’ll see!

Also you like MCR, YOI, and horses I think this means we should be friends.

whenever I draw Victor or Yuri and their butt is in frame I make sure to pay special attention to making it a nice booty, it’s what Sayo Yamamoto would want.

Thank you <3 as I said it’s something that had been in my head for ages! I started a few sketches a while back but never finished them, but for some reason the motivation just struck again and I found a bunch of good references so I was finally able to post some stuff. I have one drawing of Yuri and his horse done but want some more to post as a set so once I do that that’s probably what I’ll post next.

Some sketches of Victor for my YOI Dressage au! Dressage and figure skating have a surprisingly lot in common and I’ve thought Victor would make a beautiful dressage rider since like ep 2 of YOI, the au has just developed in my head since then and now I’m finally drawing it.
