ESSENTI/MYSTIORI DYNAMICS & TERMS [A-Z]
NOTE: Some terms on here will be very different from the definitions others have given to certain dynamics in the Fanfiction Trope Omegaverse or others verse/experiences. Taking into account much of this information is based off my own personal experiences as a Misce+ alter — you should be aware not all the Greek alphabet letters will exist.
Atrinary ― A term for when ones dynamic or secondary gender falls out of the typical trinary (The main Alpha/Beta/Omega being the trinary).
Adynamic/Asecondary ― When one does not identify with any known dynamic or secondary sex.
Aega ― A Bidynamic/Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Alpha and Omega dynamics with a strong Alpha lean.
Aelta/Aldelta ― A Bidynamic/ Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Alpha and Delta dynamics with a strong Alpha lean.
Aeta/Alpheta ― A Bidynamic/ Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Alpha and Beta dynamics with a strong Alpha lean.
Alma/Alamma ― A Bidynamic/ Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Alpha and Gamma dynamics with a strong Alpha lean.
Alpha ― Type Omegaverse or Alpha/ Beta/Omega Dynamics into your preferred browser search.
Alphota ― A term for lotas who identify with the Alpha dynamic or transition to the Alpha dynamic.
Beamma/Betamma ― A Bidynamic/ Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Beta and Gamma dynamics with a strong Beta lean.
Bega ― A Bidynamic/Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Beta and Omega dynamics with a strong Beta lean.
Belta/Betda ― A Bidynamic/ Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Beta and Delta dynamics with a strong Beta lean.
Bepha ― A Bidynamic/Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Beta and Alpha dynamics with a strong Beta lean.
Beta ― Type Omegaverse or Alpha/ Beta/Omega Dynamics into your preferred browser search.
Betoa ― A term for lotas who identify with the Beta dynamic or transition to the Beta dynamic.
Delta ― An extended dynamic similar to Betas but lack a detectable scent. They serve as assistants to Betas rather than Alphas and rely on heightened instincts to predict pup sex, detect heat cycles, and, possibly, identify fated mates.
Demidynamic ― A term for those who only partially identify with a Dynamic. (Ex: DemiAlpha, DemiBeta, DemiOmega)
Dynamic Non-Conforming ― A term for those who do not conform to the expectations of their secondary sex (Dynamic). This may be social non- conformity, identity non-conformity, relationship non-conformity, body non-conformity, and more.
Dynamicfluid ― A term for individuals with a non-fixed dynamic that shifts over time or depending on the situation. These fluctuations can occur at the level of dynamic identity or dynamic expression.
Enigma ― A highly debated dynamic believed to be either mythical or extinct. According to myth Enigmas are simultaneous dynamics, capable of shifting freely between the three primary dynamics; Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
Epsilon ― An extended dynamic term used for individuals of any primary or extended dynamic who carry a recessive gene from another dynamic. For example, a Beta with a recessive Alpha gene may appear or smell faintly Alpha-like despite being a Beta.
Feral Alpha ― A derogatory slur for a Prime Alpha/Rho.
Feral Omega ― A derogatory slur for a Prime Omega/Tau.
Gamma ― A extended dynamic physiologically similar to Betas but rather frail by comparison yet unlike any other dynamic Gammas possess the ability to change their scent to mask as other dynamics to fit any given situation, biologists believe this is a naturally occurring adaptation to aid in survival.
lota ― A term used by intersex dynamic individuals. lotas may physically, hormonally or scent profile wise present as any combination of two dynamics, including Alpha/Beta, Alpha/Omega, Beta/Alpha, Beta/ Omega, Omega/Alpha, or Omega/ Beta. Current research has identified intersex variants only among the three primary dynamics.
Omega ― Type Omegaverse or Alpha/ Beta/Omega Dynamics into your preferred browser search.
Ometa — A Bidynamic/Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Omega and Beta dynamics with a strong Omega lean.
Omepha — A Bidynamic/Bisecondary term for those who identify with both Omega and Alpha dynamics with a strong Omega lean.
Omota — A term for lotas who identify with the Omega dynamic or transition to the Omega dynamic.
Pandynamic — A term for Individuals who identify as all dynamics at once. (Within one's own experiences, if applicable.)
Prime Alpha — An outdated term for Alphas with elevated levels of secondary sex hormones, resulting in stronger hormonal and behavioral influence from their secondary sex than their primary sex. They are often characterized by more "primal or feral" instincts and behaviors compared to standard Alphas. They have the strongest scent of any of the dynamics, they're considered physiologically stronger than their dynamic counterparts.
Prime Beta ― An outdated and forgotten term to refer to those physiologically similar to Betas but possess a scent profile that only Primes can detect. Prime Betas sedative pheromones are one of the few things capable of completely calming a distressed, grieving, injured or enraged Prime Alpha or Omega.
Prime Omega — A now-obsolete term once used for Omegas exhibiting elevated secondary hormone expression, often resulting in the dominance of secondary-sex-driven instincts over primary-sex traits. Prime Omegas are commonly described as more instinct-driven—sometimes labeled as “primal” or “feral”—and are noted for their exceptional resilience, heightened territorial behavior, and above-average physical strength compared to Omegas.
Rho — A dynamic term created by Prime Alphas to replace the label Prime Alpha, which is considered outdated and heavily stigmatized. Rhos may or may not continue to identify as Alphas; some view Rho as simply a modernized classification, while others consider it a completely separate dynamic existing outside the traditional trinary system.
Rhota — A term for lotas who either exhibit Rho characteristics, identify with the Rho dynamic or transition to the Rho dynamic.
Taota — A designation for lotas who display Tau-aligned characteristics, identify with the Tau dynamic, or are in the process of transitioning into it.
Tau — A dynamic classification introduced by Prime Omegas as a replacement for the term Prime Omega, which has come to be regarded as outdated and stigmatized. Those who identify as Tau may or may not continue to identify as Omegas; for some, it represents a modernized extension of the Omega designation, while for others, it signifies a distinct dynamic that exists outside the traditional trinary system.
Transdynamic — Transdynamic is the term for those who are physiologically and hormonally one dynamic (secondary gender) but identify as and wish to be seen as a different dynamic.
Zeta — A modernized dynamic term created by Betas who would have once been classified as Prime Betas or would have identified as Prime Betas.
Zetoa — A term for lotas who either exhibit Zeta characteristics, identify with the Zeta dynamic or transition to the Zeta dynamic.
