Esse (To be) Entitatem (An entity) also called Essenti or Senti is a term for individuals or system parts with non-human yet humanoid identities (such as vampires, sirens, or demons). These individuals feel a connection to the sexes, genders, and cultural frameworks found in the Omegaverse, and often report instinctual inclinations toward behaviors commonly associated with it. Essenti should not be confused with the Omegaverse genre trope itself. The identity is not rooted in kink, fetish, or roleplay, despite common misconceptions.

Mysterium (Mystery) Originis (Origin) also called Mystiori or Mysti is a term for individuals or system parts with non-human mythical creature identities (such as dragons, unicorns, or griffins). These beings feel a connection to the sexes, genders, and cultural frameworks found in the Omegaverse, and often report instinctual inclinations toward behaviors commonly associated with it. I don’t support the use of my flags or terms by anyone who identifies as or supports endogenic systems. I am strongly opposed to an ideology that was largely supported and founded by an individual who has privilege as a white cisgender able bodied woman with a very apparent westernized misunderstanding of Buddhism (Sybil, creator of the now dead site Astreasweb.net that for a long time was the hub or go to site for endos), who has spouted and encouraged ableism even going so far as to prey on and exploit vulnerable people with DIDOSDD to feed them vitriol to encourage harmful ableist narratives about the disorder. This includes Sybil’s contributions of her creation of the now dead website Darkpersonalities.net where Sybil encouraged those with diagnosed DIDOSDD to showcase their worst parts and alters in an effort reinforce the stigma that DIDOSDD is a scary harmful evil diagnosis with “serial killer” alters or similar. I am disgusted with her intentional targeted predation of vulnerable people with the inclusion of her misinterpretation Buddhist beliefs along with cherry-picking concepts like the multiverse theory from the spiritual kin community in order to influence and recruit a larger network of supporters for this movement.

I need to address what appears to be another instance of limited thinking. I find it particularly ironic coming from someone in an adjacent community—MOGAI individuals who routinely create niche micro-labels to describe their experiences.

When asked, "Why do these need to exist? It's basically the same thing," the answer comes down to species. Earth animals exhibit different behaviors from mythical creatures or humanoid mythical beings. As far as we know, mythical species haven't been proven to exist as physical beings with physically bodily DNA differentiating themselves from other known organisms. While non-human identity is valid, suggesting we're physical DNA-aligned with creatures not proven to exist in this universe borders on clinical lycanthropy (though that itself is a valid experience). If our alterhuman identity stems from being a non-human alter, neurodivergence, abuse, or spiritual beliefs, claiming physical DNA alignment to mythical creatures concerns me deeply.

Consider if you will approaching everyone under the ace umbrella and demanding demisexuals, grey-aces, and other micro-labels the same way you’re doing to Null, to justify why they “need the right or need to name their experiences" with the argument "you're all some flavor of ace! I categorically reject any use of my flags or terminology by individuals who identify as or support endogenic systems or similar labels. I strongly oppose anyone who finds nothing concerning, offensive or in desperate need of reform than with an ideology strongly founded by the efforts of long time ableist- Sybil, a white cisgender able-bodied woman whose Westernized misunderstanding of Buddhism underpins this harmful movement. As creator of the now-defunct Astreasweb.net (once the central hub for endogenic supporters), Sybil has actively promoted ableism and exploited vulnerable people with DID/OSDD by feeding them harmful narratives that reinforce damaging stereotypes about the disorder.

Sybil's creation of Darkpersonalities.net exemplifies this predation she encouraged diagnosed individuals to showcase their most distressing aspects and alters specifically to perpetuate stigmatizing portrayals of DID/OSDD as characterized by "serial killer" alters or similarly frightening manifestations. Her deliberate cherry-picking of Buddhist concepts, combined with multiverse theories from the spiritual kin community, reveals a calculated strategy to recruit supporters while masking the movement's problematic origins.

To those questioning my position: my objections have nothing to do with "sysmedical" beliefs—the default accusation often leveled against such criticism. I'm fully aware that whatever justification I offer will likely still personally offend some. At the end of the day, my terms were specifically coined to validate and include the experiences of DID/OSDD system parts with Misce+ identities, not to legitimize misinformation of super egos, make unrealistic claims on OCs or claim usually inaccurately that spirits of the dead that may temporarily possess or communicate with individuals maintain function identically to dissociated parts.

True spiritual possession in faiths whether properly understood or not, do not and never have operated in the same neurological manner as the alters formed through the severe, repeated childhood trauma that characterizes DID/OSDD. To apply terminology or lay claim to presentation based on traumatized systems to these fundamentally different experiences is not just inaccurate; it actively undermines the medical reality and spiritual accuracy and validation of those who not only navigate the complexities of dissociative disorders every day, but also the cultures from which these faiths derive.

I owe no explanations to those committed to emotionally reactive and willful misunderstanding, nor is it my responsibility to educate you about the deeply concerning foundations of the endogenic/non disordered plural community—especially as proponents actively bury this history or double down on harming vulnerable people which they claim to support.

As the coiner of #Essenti and #Mystiori also known as #Essentitas and #Mystiorigo before I changed them to be less of a mouthful, I want to reassure users that not everyone is out to invalidate you or call you fake.

I created the terms #Essenti and #Mystiori to be more inclusive of different groups and experiences, as someone who is actually in a position to coin such terms. I also agree with others who have said it would be inappropriate for singlet, human-identifying individuals to coin terms for experiences they do not have, as that risks speaking over those who do.

I also want to address a few misconceptions. I do not appreciate being labeled or having my acquaintances labeled as “pluralphobic.” I am a non-human host within an OSDD system, though this is not something that should have to be disclosed to strangers online. Additionally, I do not agree with the idea that using the word “fictional,” in this context especially when no better word was available at the time, is some kind of veiled insult or threat toward someone else’s lived reality. That interpretation feels misplaced. It would be hypocritical for me to equate “fictional species” with “fake,” given that I identify as fictionkin and hold beliefs in the multiverse.

Some people view these concepts as fictional, and that’s okay. I can’t force anyone to believe in things like the multiverse, the supernatural, the afterlife, heaven, or hell. What matters is that people remain respectful of experiences they don’t personally understand or practice.

Unfortunately, it feels like parts of the #miscemunity have failed in that regard—especially in how the original coiner of #Miscefolk and #Misceanimalis has been intentionally disrespected, dismissed, and even demonized, despite the term being created for a specific demographic.

Again, people will believe what they believe, and that’s fine. The issue is not belief—it’s respect. Something I’m discovering the #misceverse community needs to reflect on, particularly in how it has treated the original coiner of #Miscefolk and #Misceanimalis and the community those terms were meant to support. It would do some of you a world good in the emotional reactivity department to think very carefully before making a choice to post something that further drives a large wedge between people by crying foul over perceived threats or intentions of others born entirely out of fact-less defensive paranoid reasonings and speculation.

Dynamicfluid ― A term for individuals with a non-fixed dynamic that shifts over time or depending on the situation. These fluctuations can occur at the level of dynamic identity or dynamic expression.

Enigma ― A highly debated dynamic believed to be either mythical or extinct. According to myth Enigmas are simultaneous dynamics, capable of shifting freely between the three primary dynamics; Alpha, Beta, and Omega.

Epsilon ― An extended dynamic term used for individuals of any primary or extended dynamic who carry a recessive gene from another dynamic. For example, a Beta with a recessive Alpha gene may appear or smell faintly Alpha-like despite being a Beta.

Feral Alpha ― A derogatory slur for a Prime Alpha/Rho.

Feral Omega ― A derogatory slur for a Prime Omega/Tau.

Gamma ― A extended dynamic physiologically similar to Betas but rather frail by comparison yet unlike any other dynamic Gammas possess the ability to change their scent to mask as other dynamics to fit any given situation, biologists believe this is a naturally occurring adaptation to aid in survival.

They are often characterized by more "primal or feral" instincts and behaviors compared to standard Alphas. They have the strongest scent of any of the dynamics, they're considered physiologically stronger than their dynamic counterparts.

Prime Beta ― An outdated and forgotten term to refer to those physiologically similar to Betas but possess a scent profile that only Primes can detect. Prime Betas sedative pheromones are one of the few things capable of completely calming a distressed, grieving, injured or enraged Prime Alpha or Omega.

Prime Omega — A now-obsolete term once used for Omegas exhibiting elevated secondary hormone expression, often resulting in the dominance of secondary-sex-driven instincts over primary-sex traits. Prime Omegas are commonly described as more instinct-driven—sometimes labeled as “primal” or “feral”—and are noted for their exceptional resilience, heightened territorial behavior, and above-average physical strength compared to Omegas.

Rho — A dynamic term created by Prime Alphas to replace the label Prime Alpha, which is considered outdated and heavily stigmatized.
