My town never had blockbuster but we did have an extremely soulful movie gallery which I see has now been converted into a vape shop. Sad. I remember my parents buying Bomberman 64 The Second Attack (the best game ever made, because I played it at the age when games are simply the most awesome they can be) there, which if I sold now would give me like $300. But I would never.

Speaking about the meaninglessness of oaths,

Earlier this year, when I was framed for vehicular homicide by a flock camera and I had a bunch of state troopers interrogating me at 4 AM on Good Friday, what annoyed me the most was that I had just sworn an oath to tell the truth in my statement and that piece of shit trooper at the end of my testimony just flat out accused me of lying about everything and obviously still pursued a murder charge against me and then stole my phone and car. What the fuck is the point of swearing an oath if you're just going to treat me like a liar anyway? Do oaths mean ANYTHING anymore? I mean obviously they don't, but fuck, you're supposed to be an officer of the law and the law stands ultimately on nothing but oaths. And they don't mean anything anymore!

And some may point out they do the bad cop routine to trip you up to see if you change your story or whatever, but it's still insulting.
