Hello all! This is #envywar, an rp blog for the fallen archangel gabriel from the prophecy, written by sura. You may know me from my oc, @postmort , @gaiama , @todevour & @baalbub

I will have my full bio up tomorrow. In the meantime heres some small points on his character.

He started a second war in heaven over his envy of man and the fact that god now favors man over angels. He is not in alliance with luci.fer. In fact he hates him.

Angels are canonically nonbinary. Gabriel just take on a masculine form & pronouns.

God no longer talks to Gabriel and its a big sensitive spot for him. He hates god just a little bit for this and projects that hate on the existing hate he has for man.

He wants to take over heaven so that no human souls may enter it. All the souls of man are in a state of limbo at the moment to protect them from gabriel and his angels. If he wins, heaven will be forever shut to man.

hey guys your friendly rpc lesbian jj here again with another reminder about all the ways you can stop making the rpc feel so unwelcoming to lesbian muns. On today’s edition of ‘your muse is not you’ please try not to call your female muses bicurious or straight but they kiss girls sometimes or straight because they haven’t tired it or anything like that which is basically the equivalent of putting a Katy Perry song in your lyrics. HERE’S WHY. When a lesbian mun of wlw muse sees that, what we see is “my character is straight but like i’m not repulsed by a little girl kissing maybe i’ll try it sometimes uwu” and it makes us feel like a fad or a style or a sweater that you’ll put on if the mood is right. The same goes for memes that like to classify things like “and lgbt kiss” like it’s a hat you can wear for one meme reply. If your character is bisexual, they’re bisexual. If they’re straight, they’re straight. Please be clear. PLEASE BE CLEAR. If what you want to say is ‘my character is bisexual but she’s closeted and doesn’t know it yet’ THAT’S FINE. Your character is not sentient. They won’t know if you call them bsiexual in your info. If your character is straight, please just say so. Do not put wlw muns and muses in the position of thinking you are willing to ship and then making them feel REALLY awkward when it turns out you’re not. Lesbians esecially go through enough of that in real life, of being constantly made to feel like their desires are gross, awkward, or pushy. Do not make us feel that way in the RPC. Kissing girls isn’t a fun party trick. Bicurious isn’t a sexuality. Try “bi but they don’t know that yet” or simply “straight” if that’s what you mean. I promise we won’t come hunt you down if you write a straight muse. But it’s way fucking shittier to make it seem like you’re down when you’re not. Please just be clear.

I’ve seen this post going around saying ‘they’re a bad rp partner if your threads with them always come second to their threads with someone else’ and like ????? no? not the case, y’all. not at all. you’re human. you’re allowed to have more muse for a certain thread, or gel better with some writers than with others. it’s okay. it’s normal! and you better not let anyone guilt trip you for not prioritising their threads. this is a hobby - you’re allowed to have preferences and act on them. idk, this might be an unpopular opinion, but this is the hill I’ll die on \o/
