hi everyone! i see a few followers made their way over here. welcome!

i'm still figuring everything out and making icons, buuut i'd love to get started! consider this a starter call! go ahead and throw a like if you're interested and i'll get something cooked up for you :)

i'm probably going to cap it at 2 for now while i get my bearings.

so haunting for someone so haunted. while shadow-bound activities were largely dissolved into simply being absent from the hub of activity within the main wards of the city, sephiroth still found themselves clinging to the silence and secrecy of the side lines. revisiting this place was nothing short of a bore, truly. having once attempted to conquer it, now it stood as merely a place to shackle him once more. icarus clipped and in mourning.

but as all good ghost stories go, he still yet lingers. a reflection on the window of a shadowy store, a fleeting thought to those already so exhausted by his prowess. a memory, yet he still lived. sworn to never vanish from the world, he was instead cursed to live on. death incarnate tethered to the earth.

first, he thought that flash of crimson to be his own haunting, but he had never been a ghost to genesis. perhaps he was the moon and stars, so out of reach of that gloved hand that genesis had always hoped to clasp within his fist, but the sky was far too large. far too deep. he didn't care for the poetics of it all, but to spy him sitting alone in the twilight, book betwixt his fingers, why it almost felt fiction-esque.

approaching, sephiroth's steps came accompanied with the fall of a few black feathers, though they never hit the ground. he paused before genesis, part of him apathetic, the other... the other... the other... he spoke almost dream-like, as was so often the case when words parted his lips. for that otherworldly intensity washed over his listeners, either raising hairs upon their arms or prompting them to listen close.

" so much for the hero's tale. "

and so, he began haunting once more.

normally, this sight, this voice was reserved for moments when the sun dips across the horizon, signifying the cut of the day and the approaching night. he's used to the haunting of his wrongs clinging to him as he's alone with a cigarette, memories sticking to him and refusing to let go, much like the smoke.

this time, however, is the only moment that gives him pause.

the silver hair that looks as if it was spun by silk of the moon and eyes like the seas of costa del sol; this is familiar in a way it no longer soon coupled with something that isn't: the black feathers that flutter behind him that match his own. genesis doesn't remember this fact about him, a new factor of a dream perhaps?

he wants to laugh, but he doesn't. he does smile though, but it's troubled with how absurd this situation was. it feels like they're main characters in a play of their own making. truly, how fitting is that.

"my, my, to think you would show you face before me and so soon. i thought i would have to scour the earth to find you, my friend." it's a practiced line, one that genesis throws towards him to see just how he responses. he even to step closer towards him too, lifting a hand to what he deems is a mirage, a dream; he's played this role many versions of sephiroth and even angeal that it doesn't bother him.

"but tell me," he pauses before his gloved fingers reach hair, or even skin, "is it truly you before me? or merely a mirage?"
