Solitude is Bliss- Tame Impala
I found more music boys and girls
Fiction Family- Give Me Back my Girl
"I don't ever want to lose your love"
Nataly Dawn- La Vie en Rose
Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson- Delicate Cycle
So simple yet so haunting. I know these two released a new version of this song on The Uncluded, but to be honest it's not nearly as good as the original.
I still love them both, though.
The World is Mine (Visioneers Remix)
Last summer, I found a Nas-inspired piece called "The World is Yours" by the Visioneers (a tribute/retelling of its namesake), and I knew I had to do something with it. I finished remixing the remix and writing the lyrics six months ago, but never achieved a satisfying recording. A few nights ago I decided I just want to be done with it, so here it is. I'm pretty unhappy with the production value of it, but I'm pretty awful at consistent recording, so getting down 28-line verses is a tribulation I'm sick of failing, When I finished recording for the hundredth time, happy with what I got, and realized that the audio quality was garbage, I decided I'd just go with it, because who cares anyway?
I tried to channel Illmatic, though I know it's a far cry from the classic. I'm pretty happy with the lyricism, though, which is why I'm putting this out at all. Maybe one day I'll rerecord, but for now I put this out for the few people who might listen, and more importantly, for myself. Mostly I want to upload this to be able to say I finished this project, because that's important, man.
Susannah McCorkle- Waters of March
Okay if you listen to one new song this month it has to be this one. Absolutely beautiful, soothing, and all around wonderful. Bossa Nova is the love of my life for this year.
Erik Satie, Debussy - Gymnopédies I and II
Weird background pictures, but these pieces are so fantastic. Just listen to those violins sing.
Bach- Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major
Back to school, and Yo-Yo Ma has graciously accompanied me.
Emancipator- Soon it will be Cold Enough to Build Fires
"A Day by Atmosphere Supreme" - Nujabes
Makes me feel sick inside, like my guts calling back to a time long forgotten. The pull is so visceral, but what exactly is it that I need so badly?Â
Short thing I did because ProleteR is awesome
ProleteR- Queen of Hearts (Feat. Kayle)
ProleteR is amazing. Forgive me if I spam his music for the next few weeks.
Epik High- 10ë ë€ì ft. Leeds
Ten years later, still strong. "Stand up; never change."
Blink 182- Down
Hahahah this was my childhood, man
Jon Foreman-Â The Moon is a MagnetÂ
Beautiful.
Mutemath- Stall Out
One of my favorites
Eric Whitacre- Sleep
