BOX REST!!! It can be a traumatic time for both horse and owner when your horse has to box rest and especially when it is months rather than weeks. Our Calming Cookies are extremely effective for this situation giving the horse a feeling of wellbeing and focus. If given 3-4 consecutive days, it gets into their heads that it might not be so bad, box resting after all! In many cases you dont need to give another cookie again or just now and again as they are able to learn as they still have their faculties!

My horse is quite an anxious character and showed some symptoms of ulcers - reluctant to go forward, bucked in canter, reluctant to really engage his tummy muscles and 'lift' his top line so struggled to develop muscle there. He had also started chewing his stable. I had a long chat with Deborah who was incredibly helpful and recommended a course of GastroPlus. Within two days Fidget was much happier to go forward and had stopped bucking in canter. He's now on the maintenance product and within a week of being off it he started wood chewing and being less forward when ridden, so I now make sure I never run out! Customer service is also top class. Cannot recommend this product enough!

Thankyou Kirsty for your great update <3 "I wanted to share how brilliant the calming cookies really are, last year I had an accident my leg dropped out it's socket and out my back and then was diagnosed with a neurological disorder, my mare was put out on loan where she wasn't treated well so I took her back, wen she came back she was sharp had become spooky at everything and I made the heartbreaking decision to put her for sale, this is when I found calming cookies , I felt sceptical but would have tried anything to see if I could keep my girly, and what can I say... well these cookies certainly do what they say on the packet my mare now focuses, get less stressed not spooky and even with my now limited leg use is listening to my aids. If it wasn't for these cookies my mare would be in a new home now instead of with us where she is meant to be. We've just entered our first dressage comp and are getting graded for para dressage on Friday, these cookies have changed our lives quite literally.
