Title: [ A DEV-oted Peri ]
Post Final-about a week after
"Hey, Wanda, Cosmo where's Peri? It's been a while?" Hazel ask as she gets up
"My poor baby is missing that little squirt, Dev, so he's been following him," Wanda says as Cosmo floats and nodding his head.
"I thought he was gonna be assigned a new godkid?" Hazel asks.
"Peri needs some...time, Dev was his first godkid, can't blame him for waiting," Wanda says.
"I wonder how Dev is, after getting his memory wiped, he probably went back to his sad life, with his neglected father, but what does that matter huh? Oatmeal cookie?" Cosmo says offering it to Hazel, she wears a guilty expression.
"Squirt, why are we early to school?" Wanda asks.
"Right, well, I wrote this letter, to Dev...well I feel...sad for Dev, sure he calls me by my name now, but we're not as close, I know he doesn't remember-but I just wanted to-Watch out!" Hazel warns.
"Huh?" The fairy family say in unison, they turn to see the classroom fill with kids. Cosmo and Wanda turn into Hazels pencil and eraser, however Peri panicked and turned into a student.
"Peri!" Hazel screams in panic.
Dev is behind Hazel,"Peri? Who exactly are you?" He asks a nervous Peri as he slowly takes a seat.
Dev raises a brow,"Peri?" He says expecting a last name.
"Uh-Peri Winkle! You can just call me Peri though," Peri says, and is thankful Mr.Guzmas walks in to start the class.
"Peri what the heck!?" Hazel pipes up as they head into the cafeteria.
"What? I panicked!" Peri asks as they sit.
"Wanda, Cosmo?" Hazel asks.
"What sport? Wanda pipes.
"Oh, our baby is back in school," Cosmo says.
"I'm not a baby," Peri says slightly annoyed.
"You'll always be our baby!" Wanda and Cosmo say in unison.
"Anyways, you can't be a student here, what if someone find out you're a fairy!?" Hazel whispers...loudly.
"Only if you keep shouting, besides...uh, I always wanted to see what it was like to be a human," Peri says as he wags his fake arms. Hazel stares at him with suspicion...
Peri sweats before confessing,"okay, so maybe I wanted something else," he says as his eyes focus on Dev, sitting at the table across...alone.
Hazel looks back at Dev,"you can't-uh, can he?" Hazel asks her Fairy Godparents...
"Uh, I'm not sure," Wanda says.
βWhat does it matter? Heβs already over there,β Cosmo says lazily.
βHey kid,β Peri says taking a seat next to Dev. The boy looked at Peri with a raised brow at the word βkidβ
βUh-why are you eating alone?β Peri asks.
βWhat kind of question is that? Clearly because I own this table,β Dev says, gesturing to the table.
