He blinked and stared at her, able to clearly tell how scared she had been. âHeyâŠâ he said, stepping forwards. He was no longer being cool or suave like he acted. He was just concerned. âAre you all right?â
He took her hand gently and held it in a firm, not painful, grip. âYouâre okay, donât worry.â
Her heartbeat accelerated when he touched her. âI-I know! Iâm perfectly fine now that y-youâre here!â She stammered, laughing nervously. Her fingers curled tightly around his hand.
He smiled softly at her, then wrapped an arm around her. "Do you want to go have some lunch now?" He asked, wanting to get her mind off it as soon as possible.
