“NOPE,” and it’s only because Sienna did not think this one through… yet. Usually, she would go along, and come up with something on the spot, but this required far too much effort at the moment, and she wasn’t simply having it today. “Although, I am SURE it won’t be anything extreme – everything will be under control and moderately acceptable to do in a public area, around the people; PG stuff, or whatever…” Sienna trailed off, attempting not to give out any more information about this entire thing, which she, clearly, FAILED. There was just something about Erin that was making Six so damn honest, so candid, and she wasn’t sure what it was. She wasn’t going to question it, but it was definitely a thing that she should make a mental note of, for the future. “I do recognize it, in fact, I am extremely GRATEFUL that you’ve never smacked me,” she acknowledged briefly. “I wouldn’t want to be caught off guard and break your arm, or somethin’.”
Six shrugged, “— of course she DOES. It’s just… she knows that I can handle everything on my own, I guess,” partially because she let her believe that things were fine when they clearly were not; that’s where the part of her old self was coming into play – she let her own mother believe that there was nothing that could possibly hurt her, and she wasn’t sure if that was the worst thing she’s ever done. “Why would you want to bring DAVE into this?” She asked in mock offence, “I did tell her I’m really, really GAY, so I don’t think she’d believe you, anyway.” Call it a second coming-out – Sienna didn’t necessarily need to do that, but she figured she’d feel better if she let her mother know that — simple, wasn’t it? “I can do all the talking, you can just stand right next to me and look all pretty, which is… not really a hard thing for you to do, so… We’ll be more than fine,” she reassured. “I sent her the NAILS emoji and then the SHRUG one and she changed the topic, so I don’t know… – is that a bad thing?”
“i’ll find some way to get you to talk,” erin poked the woman’s arm. even if she couldn’t find a way to get the other to talk before the actual wedding, she would have fun at least trying. there was always something so enjoyable about deliberately winding up the taller of the two. “pg and stuff? brennan, have you ever known me to stick to a pg rating? i don’t think it’s even possible.” of course, there was still another side of erin that sienna still hadn’t been presented with that involved with under privileged kids and those that were going through similar things to what she had gone through -- it had started out as a work related obligation and now it was something that she actively took time out of her life to accommodate. for some reason, she couldn’t get herself to share that part. it was private to herself and those she spent time with. “well, to be fair, that could always change. unpredictability is fun, so... watch yourself, brennan,” she smirked. “always with the underestimating. what makes you think that i can’t break your arm?”
erin also shrugged in return. her experience with parents was extremely limited, so hearing what it was like for others was still quite a foreign concept to her, she barely knew how to respond so mirrored the other’s reaction instead. “right, because you’re a fighter and shit like that? dude, i’ve seen you cry over cat videos, i’m thinking she really needs to reevaluate her view of you,” she joked. “hell, i’ll even show her the video as proof.” erin reached across the brunette and grabbed her phone from the other side of the couch. “why would i not bring dave into this? i think his stance in this is very important.” after a pause, erin arched a brow. “--- how’d she take that? the whole gay thing,” she waved a hand vaguely. she didn’t mean to ask a question like that, but sometimes - just sometimes - her curiosity about the woman was too much to handle. “oh, i get it now,” the radio host wrinkled her nose, “i’m just arm candy to you, right?” jokingly, erin flexed one of her biceps in sienna’s face. “is it a bad thing that you told your sister you nail me and then shrug about it? honestly? no fucking clue,” she laughed. “it’s kinda funny, though.”
