Bro the Byler hate is so fucking unreasonable. Most people with a hate-boner for the ship are recycling the same homophobic rhetoric and I'm actually so sick of it. How many of y’all can think of a finished mainstream show with canonically gay main characters. I'm not talking about lesbians, because unfortunately, it's definitely more “acceptable,” to the mainstream Hollywood audience. As a bisexual, trust me, I know.

 Im talking about an actual mlm relationship. The answer is, unless the plot is all about them being gay, fewer than you would expect. Whenever I see comments like “its a Fetish,” along with them believing that every Byler shipper is some wigged out fujoshi, it really gets me fucking thinking.

Since when was speculating about a queer partnership between two characters with chemistry a fucking fetish? Where is the sexualization to you? Does a mlm relationship inherently mean sex? Honestly reminds me of my catholic professor referring to homosexuality as a “perversion.”

Does this mean Byler shippers villainize or hate the idea of Mike and Eleven being endgame? Some definitely do, but a majority of shippers adore both pairs.
