Although it’s a different kind of National Day Parade this year, I’m thankful that we still have the opportunity to enjoy fireworks as a yearly tradition. Been almost 6 months since I last had a proper walk, or to even take a step back and wind down. Woke up at 0530 for a stroll at Sungei Buloh but was greeted with early morning showers instead. While most people choose to visit Hokkaido during Winter mainly for skiing in Snow White vistas, I prefer the colourful bright Summer albeit baking hot weather. One of the famous sights in Hokkaido, Cape Kamui has luscious greenery and the paths are adorned with pretty wild flowers. Taking part in an Instagram Photo Contest organised by Japan By Japan. This was captured during April 2018, a short drive from my accommodation in Lake Kawaguchi. It was an early morning for me in an attempt to see the elusive Mt. Fuji. Was on the road and happened to pass by an old Japanese lady standing outside her house.
