HEy ZAMMY ZAAAAAM yeah um so here's the meaning behind this picture and, in general, my vision of Zam's character during the empire arc:

actually, he thinks of himself as a bug

which one exactly? I chose a rhinoceros beetle and a stag beetle because they both resonate with his character. they buzz loudly and look majestic, intimidating, and even regal — but in reality, they can be easily crushed with just a few fingers. that's exactly what PrinceZam sees when he looks at himself: a worthless little bug, terrifying with its horns and loud buzzing

Zam projects this onto others, including Wemmbu, because he sees in him the same thirst for power and control, the same misery that he himself possesses.

but this "bug-like" misery doesn't apply to Wemmbu at all. In fact, Wemmbu is a creature of a different order. but I'll talk about it later
