❝ Have you seen the dragons on the wind of morning? ❞ Na`Vi Dragons • Pro-bending team
The Natus Vincere Dragons, widely known as The Na`Vi Dragons, is a popular pro-bending team which was one of the first teams formed in pro-bending history.
• the name —
Natus Vincere is a Latin phrase meaning "born to win" Dragons, on the other hand, are symbolic ancestors of Fire Benders. The first ever captain of the team was a Fire Bender himself.
• the members —
The present captain of the team is Astro and most of the members are known to be in a gang called "The Freedom Fighters"
Although each team in the Pro-bending rules consist of three players. The Na`Vi Dragons team itself consist of many members, each formed in sub-groups to fight in different regions depending on the team's residence.
• the mascot —
The team's former inspiration was the pair of Ran and Shaw. The tale of Ran and Shaw was about using fire-bending despite its aggressive and hateful nature.
Through time, the mascot was changed into the Dragon Spirit, a dragon that does not emphasize on fire alone, but also embracing the spirit of the Avatar, an individual believed to have balanced all the elements in which the team aims to do.
• the symbol —
All members have the Spirit Dragon tattoo on any part of the body.
• the specialty —
One of the special moves practiced by the team is the "Dance of the Dragons" in which each player re-enacts the Dragons of each element and then goes to combine such aura together, thus forming a strong beam. The beam then forms the shape of a Dragon— fierce, quick, and very strong.
Unfortunately, if the "dance" is not correctly performed, the result would be fatal to the users and may render them unconscious.
Since the current members are still young, the Dance of the Dragons technique is not yet perfected. Despite being more then a century old, the team still needs a lot of developing to do.
`the general and the pauper
Jennie wasn't the type to get in trouble, but she had the habit to take responsibility over her gang. Cue trouble caused by a member of her gang, cue herself trying to defend him, cue her taking in the consequences instead
and cue here in her third day, assigned to be of an assistant to the military.
So, there she was, not really knowing what to do. It was silent and the general was too busy to tend to a teenage girl like her.
She finally broke the silence
"anything I can do?"
she regretted saying it the second the phrase came out of her mouth. Heck, the general was all the seriousness in the world piled up into one body.

Jennie watched the match of the D-Lionturtles or maybe, just Aisha because she was literally the only one Jennie was watching. She wasn't Jennie that time though, she was Astro— a cap over her tied hair with boyish bangs complementing her his appearance.
She watched and cheered. Standing up in every point and cursing in every wrong move. It was a surprise that the crowd behind her had not taken her out of the dome for being so rowdy
"I knew it!"
she shouted when the team was declared winner. Without hesitation, she quickly approached Aisha
"Miss, may I get your autograph?"
she asked from behind, laughing at her joke.
`I spy a hobo
The streets were rowdy, people were buzzing and traditional music was loud that Jennie found it a tad bit annoying.
This was a festival right? rowdy and crazy.
Jennie was there of course, any event that had food— she was there.
At her right was a group of people having a drinking game. To her left was two drunk men bowing to each other. As if anyone really took note of that— people were too busy with their own stupidity. or that was what Jennie thought because she assumed that all the people there were crazy.
She took a bite from a roasted chicken leg in her hand, sighing at the thought of not having anything else to do. She watched the dancers and overlooked behind them someone who seemed suspicious.
She stood up from her chair and walked towards the stranger. She stopped just behind him
"what are you doing?"
she pointed the chicken leg at him.
`hello, mister general
"Jennie!"
Jennie flicked a glance at her friend, one of the many orphaned teenagers in the Freedom Fighters
"yes?"
"the Fire Nation's military are near here!"
"and so?"
"Lian Kuo Oppa is there!"
"who?"
"the hot general"
Jennie scoffed at her friend, the ruckus was all about that hot general her friend had been talking in ages. Jennie didn't know him, nor did she care to even look at a face that didn't concern her. But maybe the fact that it was actually her friend's birthday did she found herself making way to the army to ask for an autograph— girls these days just can't control their hormones, she thought.
So, there she was sitting on a high tree over looking the Fire Nation's camp. There weren't a lot of people then "there!" her friend pointed at the general
"where?"
"right over there!"
"hey, I can't see—"
and it wasn't a nice day for her because the branch had snapped, leaving her falling on her butt and in front of the general
sht, she thought as she stared at the stranger in front of him
`what are you up to
The night had yet to mature and the festival was still going on. Jennie didn't know why she was there, she wasn't really keen on festivals but the food had changed her perspective for tonight.
So, there she was.One Kebab on hand and the other deep in her pocket— it was cold.
The festival was not going to end soon so she figured to check on her gang— the Freedom Fighters. She passed through limbs and bodies, not really minding the rude stares that darted towards her every time she would hit against a shoulder.
The base wasn't too far away and after a few minutes, she finally arrived outside and to her surprise, she saw an unfamiliar figure tied upside down. She dropped her Kebab then
"Nudge!" she yelled for one of the members and a young boy went running out of the base. She pointed at the man in front "who is this? why is he tied upside down?" she asked. The boy pulled his hand over the back of his neck "we. uh— took money from him, heh" he replied "what?! are you serious?! who told you to go and kidnap other people?" her tone was dismissive and superior. She ordered the rest of the members to untie the man
"ah— Mister, are you alright? do you want a Kebab?"
`pretty boy
He was waiting around for a very specific person and he was already getting jittery. Where was he? How long had he honestly been waiting for? J- where were you? The festival was buzzing and Yoongi’s sour expression wasn’t helping anything at all. Until a whisper of boo practically set the poor airbender into the sky and had him never coming back down. Immediately, he turned around after he had already flown a few meters away just to check who on earth had scared the ever loving life out of him. Unfortunately he also let out the loudest scream he could manage.
"Holy… holy shit!" He exclaimed immediately as he tried to get a handle on the situation. "You scared me!! Why did you have to sneak up on me?! I don’t like surprises!" Well, if he was embarrassed now his face practically burning red. Poor Yoongi, scared to death by his own friend. "If I die we can’t be friends anymore! You know that right?!"
The other literally screamed at her little greeting. She laughed, biting her lower lip to suppress herself from laughing harder. Yoongi was one of the few people she loved to tease. She didn't know why but maybe because they have grown too close that she wouldn't even hesitate to tease him and really, Yoongi's reactions to every prank is undeniably entertaining.
"it's just me, get a hold of yourself" she laughed and proceeded to grip on his shoulders, giving the boy's body a shake
"ayt, I won't do it again— soon"
she remarked and thumbed out two lollipops out of her pocket, unwrapping one and popping it into her mouth
"oh— I won't let you die, promise"
she replied and handed out the other lollipop, a charming smile to match it to insist the other to take her gift
"peace offering" she smiled.

Because of their first meeting, Jungkook learned never to let his guard down. He was walking up to greet him when Astro suddenly saluted and hurled a ball of wind to his direction. Jungkook mentally sighed as he was used to this trick, and he immediately creates an air barrier to protect himself.
"Yah," he said, "you need to stop doing that. It’s becoming annoying." Jungkook walks towards Astro and flicks the latter’s forehead using the air. "Just because we haven’t trained in a while doesn’t mean I’ve grown oblivious to everything, nor does it mean that I forgot all about your petty little tricks." He tilts his head to his right side and furrows his brows, "I’m not stupid, alright?"
Jungkook noticed that when he flicked Astro’s forehead, his beanie moved a bit and Astro fixed it immediately. Jungkook rolled his eyes at the younger one’s actions and says, “And why the hell do you keep wearing a beanie? It won’t even take a toddler to notice how uncomfortable you look wearing it.”
Jennie watched the ball fly towards the boy, smiling the second the older had created a barrier. She was mentally debating to be proud that he was finally able to protect himself or be disappointed that she wasn't able to mess with him. Jennie gave a crooked smile, mocking sympathy at what she did earlier.
"ey—" she remarked right after the boy flicked her forehead, quickly massaging the part then "but it was fun" she replied at his suggestion to stop throwing balls of air every time "messing with you is fun" she laughed. She really didn't care if she annoyed him. He was her best friend after all and she hope she was to him too
"I should devise something different then, better look forward to it" she said. She readjusted her beanie once again, slightly getting conscious when the other had noticed the habit "uhm, the beanie. Well—" she trailed her eyes over a blank space "It looks cool, okay?" she stood up and tried to change the subject
"the Air Sphere technique, have you mastered it?"
`surprise, surprise
Astro was his name— charismatic, strong, fierce. He was a heartthrob in idiots who didn't really know that he was actually a she.
Jennie breathed a sigh of relief the second the sign had declared her team the winner. It was a tough game, she had to admit and she really enjoyed it, though there was one specific athlete in the former opposing team that really caught her attention— but she didn't really quite took note of his name.
So, once the match was finished, she quickly looked over the crowd, trailing her eyes to look for that guy. She saw his hue and jogged towards his direction, trying to catch up.
She was still wearing her head gear but she didn't care if she looked like a total idiot
"hey"
she held her hand out for the other to shake

Cho Mizuki— sometimes Jennie would mentally have a flashback of their first meeting and guessing why they actually ended up pretty close. She was a crazy woman and Jennie thought she wasn’t one herself. So maybe their friendship wasn’t personality wise
"entertain me" Miu suddenly said
Jennie raised an eyebrow. she didn’t know what to do at the fact that the older was having a bad day. So, she tore a paper into smaller portions then went to bend the air to form the small papers into figurines “here, a pony” she remarked
"try again" the fire bender replied
Jennie breathed out and held her hands up to figure the papers once again “here, a person having his face ripped into two” she commented
"try harder" the older replied once again
Jennie sighed and put her hands down as the papers scattered down as well
"how can I entertain a psychotic Unnie though"
"hah, funny"

Jennie wouldn’t really admit it but she liked the way Yuki spoiled her. He was like an awesome big brother she never had and maybe that’s why she had clearly forgotten her manners or maybe because she thought she was drunk even though she didn’t take a shot.
Her first ever pro-bending tournament was done and unfortunately, her team lost. She thought she had it, but she was a rookie and she instantly believed that pro-bending wasn’t her thing
"did you see us? we sucked"
"you didn’t, just try harder next time"
"there wouldn’t be a next time, I’m quitting"
"I thought Kim Jennie doesn’t quit?"
and at that last word did Jennie froze
"yea, she probably wouldn’t"
"see"
she smiled, then finally took the shot
"thanks for today, Oppa"

Jennie is so bored and being lazy isn’t helping her case. Of course, it is a typical training day with Aisha, one of the few people she loves to tease. Jennie watches her bend water. She goes to draw on the back of a flyer, laughing as she moves the pen against the paper.
She is finally done and goes to fold the paper into a paper airplane. She slightly closes her right eye, aiming at the focused girl. She waits for the right time, then finally releases the paper. She holds her hands up and bends the air to control the paper’s direction as it gently lands on top of Aisha. It gets stuck in the water bender’s hair and the second she unfolds the paper and sees the drawing, Jennie grins and cups her hand beside her mouth
"I drew your boobs bigger!" she yells and winks.
