I came into work and bumped into my boss and she said that she was looking for me because she wanted to let me know about my raise. This shit worked in an hour omg
I am so insanely sorry for not posting anything as I promised :( College is currently killing me and I have so much stuff to do (+ I work every weekend and Monday bcs money). I have one more week of this hell left and then I’ll be able to write again.
I’m totally not freaking out!!!! I can’t believe one of my all-time favourite writers (and the reason I cry way more often then I should) @angelkurenai liked my fic omg!!!
Summary: Thanos got what he wanted, leaving Earth’s population in pieces. You and Steve were a power couple, but he left after Thanos fulfilled his plan. Now he’s back expecting everything to be like it used to between you two.
Warnings: /
A/N: Let me know if you like it!
The silence and emptiness hung heavily upon the Avenger’s tower. Most people were either dead, thanks to Thanos, or left because they couldn’t stand everything that happened.
You couldn’t blame them for leaving. Staying there after everything that happened was slowly killing you, but you knew you couldn’t leave. Natasha needed your help managing every Avenger in the universe and it’s not like you’d dare to leave her alone. She acted all tough, putting a brave face on in front of everyone, but you heard her cry every night after she thought you were asleep..
Nobody was left unharmed after Thanos snapped his fingers and even though six months had passed, nobody was even close to being okay.
It was 3:12 in the morning and you were sitting in the kitchen, untouched sandwich in front of you. Netflix was playing on your computer and you stared blankly at it, not paying attention as usual. You thought about everything that could have happened if you defeated Thanos. You thought about Steve and how close you were before all this happened. About a house you were planning to build, about a dog, cat, and children that could have played in the back yard. You could see you and Steve sitting on the porch, holding hands and drinking coffee every morning. Now everything was gone, every dream you ever had crushed with a snap of some asshole’s fingers.
Tea on the table went cold a long time ago and bags under your eyes provided proof that sleep wasn’t your friend for a long time. Not that anyone would care about that, there were more important things to be taken care of than your insomnia.
“Y/N?” a familiar voice behind you called. A familiar voice you didn’t hear in what seemed to be ages.

“Y/N?” a familiar voice behind you called. A familiar voice you didn’t hear in what seemed to be ages.
Slowly you redirected your eyes from the screen to where the voice was coming from, not really believing your ears. Lack of sleep left its consequences on you and the traumatic experience you went through didn’t really help your mental state.
“Steve?” you asked half pissed, half confused.
“Hi.”
“What are you doing here? We don’t need you here. Besides, you told me you were leaving for good. Why come back now?” you hissed, not taking your eyes off his.
Steve smiled awkwardly, shifting from one leg to the other, “So you hate me too now? Welcome to the club,” he chuckled like it was some kind of joke.
“Hate is a strong word,” you started, taking a deep breath, “but yes I do hate you. You have no right just to show up like that, like nothing happened.”
“You know how hard everything was on me, Y/N. Losing Bucky again, losing most of my friends. I told you, you have to understand.”
His eyes widened when you started laughing. Steve expected every response possible but laugh.
“It was hard for you? It was hard for all of us hun, not just for you. We all lost friends, family even. I thought I was lucky enough not to lose a man I loved, I was wrong though. We all suffered but we didn’t disappear, leaving people we love behind without a word. We worked, hard. Why didn’t you try harder? You just left me like everything we had was nothing.”
Silence. Steve was looking at his shoes, not sure what to say. It was true, he was a coward, he didn’t know how to deal with everything so he left, leaving you behind. This was his biggest regret and he wasn’t sure how to fix it.
“I’m not alright, Steve. None of us are. I don’t think anyone will ever be alright ever again. After what Thanos did, you were the only light in my life, how do you think I felt after the person I loved and thought loved me left without a word? The only thing you left behind was a shitty letter that didn’t do shit for me.”
“I’m sorry. I never wanted to hurt you. It was selfish and mean. But I’m better now, I still love you. We can make this work, please. I’m nothing without you.” he pleaded.
You jumped out of your chair, walking past him, “Guess you’re gonna stay nothing, Steve. Too little too late. I can’t trust you anymore, not after this.” Your voice broke a bit, but you maintained your pasture.
You walked past him, needing time alone. You didn’t expect him showing up at the tower anytime soon, even less you expected him confessing his love to you.
Yes, you still loved him, more than you could ever admit to anyone, even yourself. But he betrayed you and everything you believed in. There was no way you could trust him again and even if you did you knew it would kill you if he repeated his betrayal.
“You’re leaving because it’s easier to walk away than to fight for what you really want,” he said calmly, following you.
“Yes, I am. I’m sorry for not wanting to get hurt or betrayed again, Steve. It’s not a matter of what I want or don’t want, but a matter of what is good for me. I used to think that being with you was good for me, but now I know it would be better if Thanos took me instead of someone else. So yeah, I’m walking away because I don’t want to fight anymore or be hurt by you once again. And help me god if you try to stop me.”
Steve was just about to argue with you, but you stopped him, “You can stay, your bedroom is still where it was. We can be a colleague, but there’s no way our relationship will ever get past professional. If we’re not talking about work, we’re not talking at all. Understood?”
With that you turned around, not letting him reply. You hurried to your room, hot tears streaming down your face. There was no way you were gonna let Steve Rogers hurt you ever again.
Summary: When you reach age 18 you get the same tattoo as your soul mate. Finding it is hard enough, but what if your soul mate refuses the whole concept and decides to ignore it?
Warnings: Cursing - not much but ok
A/N: I’m honestly so happy about your feedback guys! Here’s the second part, I hope you like it!

Last part:
Before you could stop yourself a firm ‘yes’ flew out of your mouth. Dean’s smile widened and so did Sam’s eyes. You couldn’t blame him though, he wasn’t used to seeing you like that and neither were you.
“So shall we?” Dean asked, his eyes locked on you.
Once again you nodded and headed towards the door, scared yet excited to what future might bring.
The restaurant you were headed to was two blocks away, just across the road from Jessica’s apartment. You hung out with her there pretty often before she met Sam, and even after they found each other, she took an hour or two every week out of her busy life to hang out with you.
She has been one of your best friends since the first day of college when neither of you could find Statistic 101. The sweetest and kindest person anyone could ever meet and a perfect fit for Sam.
“Damn Sam, I’m still mad at you that you didn’t tell me about your gorgeous roommate.” Dean grinned down at you.
Usually, there would be no way any of those words would affect you. Dean, however, had something that made your stomach do flips when you heard him talking. For someone who’s never even had a crush and faithfully waited for their soul mate that was a completely new territory. Not sure how to behave around Dean, you made sure to stick to Sam and couldn’t wait until Jess joined you so you could hang out with here.

Not sure how to behave around Dean, you made sure to stick to Sam and couldn’t wait until Jess joined you so you could hang out with here.
“C’mon Dean,” Sam groaned, rolling his eyes so far back he could probably see his brain, “You’re making her uncomfortable.”
He didn’t. Dean, despite all weird new feelings, actually made you feel way more comfortable than he should. Not that you would ever admit any of this to the brothers.
“Sorry darlin’, didn’t mean to do this.” Dean said, his voice now warmer.
You quickly mumbled that it’s alright and offered him a shy smile.
“Hey guys! Dean, nice to finally meet you!” Jessica squealed when you finally reached her. She pulled all three of you in a hug, before kissing Sam.
Both you and Dean awkwardly smiled at the couple that didn’t seem like they wanted to separate anytime soon.
“Gross, get a room you two!” Dean barked at the couple before turning to you, “Let’s go inside, I’m hungry and their love ain’t gonna feed me.”
He didn’t wait for your response, he just turned around and made his way to the restaurant. And like a small puppy you followed him inside, leaving a happy couple a few minutes alone.
“So what did Sammy tell you about me?”
His green eyes pierced through you as he waited for your reply, you could have sworn that he could see your bare soul.
“Not much if I’m honest, he seemed very excited though.”
Dean let out a small chuckle.
“Well, I’m just glad he’s doing okay. Sammy’s always been a smart kid and I’m just happy he’s living the best life he can.”
Pride was shining out of his eyes and for a second you found yourself scanning his exposed skin, hoping that just maybe you’d find a tree with two birds above it. Then he returned back to the Dean you met and you felt the bitter taste of disappointment overwhelming you.
“Of course I wouldn’t mind him mentioning that his roommate is a girl. I always thought he had a weird, very close relationship with some dude…”
Awkwardly you smiled at him, not knowing how to reply as blush crept up your cheeks.
“Aww don’t be shy, I’m just messing with you. Part of my charm as some might say. Friends?”
He held out his hand, waiting for your response. It’s not like you had anything to lose, you’d never get involved with someone who wasn’t your soul mate.
“Friends!” a smile spread across your face when you shook his hand.
Sam and Jessica joined you soon after that. You’d notice Dean staring at you more than a few times during dinner, but decided to brush it off. Just like you brushed off a weird feeling you had ever since meeting him and butterflies in your stomach. I mean Dean sure was a handsome man, nobody could blame you for a small crush.
“Dude you can’t embarrass me like that!” Dean laughed as Sam told the story of how Dean broke his leg for the first time.
“Aww c’mon it’s cute!” Jess laughed, wiping tears away from her cheeks. “I never thought though Dean Sam told me about would was once a hopeless romantic!”
A few hours later and more than a few drinks too much the four of you laughed your asses off in a bar near the restaurant. It was already getting late and you probably should head to your apartment, there was an important exam waiting for you the next day. But there was too much gin and tonic and not enough of your brain involved to force you to go to sleep.
Sam and Jessica were the first ones to give up, leaving you and Dean alone in now almost empty bar.
“Guess we should head back as well.”
You weren’t really used to drinking this much, so when you tried to stand up the room spun around you and a second later you found yourself in Dean’s lap.
“Easy sweetheart, at least wait until we’re in your room.” He chuckled before picking you up.
“Fuck!” curse escaped your mouth as you sat in his lap.
“That’s what I had in mind.” he winked at you, laughing.
You were about to slap him, but his green eyes met yours and all your drunk self could think was ‘fuck it’ before you pressed your lips against his.
As usually, your alarm clock started ringing exactly at 7:00. That was the only usual thing that morning.
Dry mouth. The strongest headache you probably ever had. The room spinning even though your eyes were closed. Nothing seemed usual, especially heavy arm thrown across your waist.
‘Fuck, please no’ you thought to yourself before opening your eyes.
Then flashbacks of last night started coming back and all you wished for was that you’d just say no when Sam suggested going to the bar and went to sleep.
A few people asked me to tag them, so I guess that’s that?
Hi!! I just read Marked!! I have to say, I loved the start to this and I can't wait to read more!!!💕💕 (ps, if you're doing tags for this I'd love to be added to the list!!💕💕💕)
Hi!
I’m so happy you liked it! Thank you so much for reading it, it means so much to me :)

Routine was something most people hated. They said it was boring and did everything they could to change it. But you never were like most people. Routines were a favourite part of your life (or so you kept telling yourself) and you loved it that your college roommate was the same.
Every day your alarm clock rang exactly at 7:00 and today was no different. You could already hear your best friend Sam making breakfast in the kitchen. You smiled to yourself and drank a glass of water from your nightstand.
Your thumb ran across a marked spot on your forearm, just little below your elbow. It was a tattoo of a small tree with two birds above it. You first saw it on the morning of your 18th birthday and immediately fell in love with it. It was like nothing you’ve ever seen before and you’ve always wondered if your soul mate feels the same about it.
Putting on your glasses you got up and walked into the kitchen.
“Morning Sam!” you smiled as he handed you a cup of coffee.
“Morning Y/N!” he smiled back, “Nervous about your exam tomorrow?”
You shook your head “Not really. I mean it’s not like professor Novak has ever been super strict. Besides, you know I’m gonna ace this one.”
Sam laughed and nodded, he was a year older then you were and assistant for Dr. Novak’s class. At first, you thought it would be awkward in class since you two were roommates and best friends, but Sam handled the whole situation so professionally, you were sure he was gonna get the job at the university when he finishes with his studies.
“Oh and to remind you… My brother is coming today to sleep over,” he said while you two ate breakfast.
“Oh yeah, Dean right? I’m excited to meet him!” you grinned widely. You haven’t met any of Sam’s family and he rarely talked about his brother. “Is he coming alone or?” the curiosity couldn’t leave you alone.
“Yeah… he’s not really into whole ‘relationships’ and ‘soul mate’ stuff.” Sam said quietly and you could see that there was a story behind this that he didn’t want you to know just yet. “He chooses to ignore it. Says he doesn’t want to get tied down.” he continued to your surprise.
“Well he’ll probably change his mind when he meets the right person” you tried to lighten up the mood. Sam’s already met his soul mate Jessica and you knew just how important this was to him.
“He won’t, believe me. I love him but I also know him and he ain’t changing.” he drank last sips of his coffee, “Anyways I need to get to my classes, see you tonight!”
You waved him goodbye and slowly finished your breakfast. Meeting Sam’s brother was exciting for you and you hoped you two will get along.
It was a rainy day and you spent most of it studying in the library near your apartment. Most of the classes already ended for you and all that was waiting for you were exams. You loved college life, yet you couldn’t wait to return home to your parents. Even though you saw them pretty often you missed living at home.
Soon the evening approached and you decided to return to your apartment. Wondering if Dean’s already arrived, you unlocked the door and stepped in.
“I’m home!” you called out and put down your bag.
You heard Sam telling you he’s in the kitchen so you headed there. Sam was standing behind a counter and you could see another man but he was facing his back against you.
“Hey guys!” you said happily and hurried to meet mysterious man.
Sam greeted you and the man, which you were almost certain was his brother Dean, turned around.
“Hi, I’m Dean!” he flashed you a smile.
A tall, handsome man was holding his hand in front of him, waiting to shake yours while you stood frozen. You knew he was going to be handsome, just like your brother, yet you didn’t expect to be so impressed over a green-eyed man.
You slowly stuttered your name, gently placing your hand in his to shake it. Dean firmly gripped your hand and you felt tingles climbing up your arm.
“Nice to meet you, Y/N! Sam never mentioned he had such gorgeous roommate, otherwise I’d visit him sooner…” he winked at you, then turned to Sam, “I just might stay a little longer Sammy!”
Sam rolled his eyes and muttered ‘jerk’ under his breath. “Don’t mind him, Y/N. He thinks he’s special but he’s really not.”
You let out a laugh, still stunned by the older Winchester. That wasn’t like you, you always imagined your soul mate would be your first and only love. Usually, you were repelled by guys like Dean, yet somehow he managed to charm you with a smile and a deep look into your eyes.
“We’re going out to eat if you want to join us?” Sam offered and Dean jumped in without hesitation.
“Please do! I will die if I have to hear about Jessica and college the whole night!”
