Ohhhh I love that for Humbert, opens so many doors. These are Great!

Caillens armour is made of a combination of soft suede leather and tough, 3-4mm thick leather rather than the same metal her fathers warriors wear in battle. Although her protection is very limited, she is able to be much more flexible when on the battlefield. The fact that it allows more arm freedom helps her much more when it comes to fighting. It combines both wereability and protection. Her armour is forest green in colouring with side lacing and metal buckles on the front that can be easily adapted for her physique. Her leg protection is split at the front and the back of the hips, making it particularly suitable for when she’s riding her horse. Her legs are covered with a similar material that’s lighter while on her feet she wears a special pair of boots that’s completely heelless and comes up to her thigh.

On this topic of ‘having fun’, I feel Will has really sort of forgotten how to do that. His life evolves around duties, ceremonies, mandatory visits. There hardly is any room for something else. The most relaxing thing he does is going for a stroll in the gardens or occasionally taking a longer bath.
When Caillen came into his life, she obviously stirred things up at court, but inside of Will as well. He finds that he quite likes how she doesn’t just do everything that is expected of her, but at the same time, because he’s the king, this is a bit difficult to admit (even to himself). But she manages to make him laugh, which he feels like hasn’t happened in like 20 years. Something is stirring for sure..
Oh my.
I think I’ve stated it before but I can most certainly see them being the “piece” that each other has been missing. I believe that right now, the pieces are just still coming together but once they do, something will most certainly click within the both of them.

Alright. Now that this blog is finally sorted out, I feel like we have a proper place to post our thoughts and ideas.
My first is for Will and Caillens verse. How old is Will within it if you don’t mind me asking? Since you told me you’ve had them all taking place in the same realm, I’m just adjusting things on my side ( no big, just character ages ). I may make caillen at least 21 so ben is still older then she and nareena.
If I did make her a bit on the younger side it’d fit her struggle to acquire that regalness her mother has always tried to install in her.
Firstly, I hope you don’t feel like you NEED to adjust anything!! Because all your characters are perfect in every way <3
I do like the thought of Caillen being a bit younger, because that definitely makes sense for her storyline. I see Will in his late 30s/early 40s when they meet, but how do you feel about that age difference? Would that work for you?
You have always been so kind to me <3 . I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I do like them to fit properly in whatever I’m tossing them at my writing partner for. I sincerely appreciate it though <3
I’m so happy you agree. 21 for her it will be. I have no problem with age differences. I actually love it more here because I feel like they’d learn a lot from each other. I can see him maturing her more and her possibly showing him how to have some proper fun.
Oh my god, please have her show him some proper fun! He needs it. Now I imagine them secretly sneaking out to places a king and queen wouldn't normally go to. Maybe they go get drunk in a tavern, visit a market and taste the foods, dancing in a square where a musician is playing. The court will probably be outraged lol

my mind there are quite a few kingdoms. For our verses I feel as if everyone would know, or know of each other just due to the fact I can see them all somewhat in the same social crowed.
Due to all the Kingdoms being different, I can see them all bringing something to the table, especially if they were allies.
Although in the same realm, what if they made up their own section? Like, we have the United States yet there are fifty states. Something like that?

I LOVE this and it’s also kinda how I picture things. Many kingdoms, some bigger, some smaller. Maybe they all have some special trades, specialties or products they can barter with. Maybe some are strong allies, while the relationship between others is a bit troubled.. (potential for drama and trouble lol)
Will’s kingdom is quite large and powerful/influential while Jasmine comes from a rather small kingdom. Despite being a princess too, she would be considered ‘lower in ranks’ than for instance Caillen and her family, but her kingdom might provide something essential for others, which still makes it important in a way. Just a thought!

Oddly enough I feel like the McCullough's Kingdom would be a mix of both Wills and Jasmines. Very similar to Wills due to it’s wealth and goods but lower in the ranks due to the fact many find it unusual ( because of the rumors of magic and what not which I mean , of course aren’t really rumors ).
She comes from a Kingdom where less is definitely more. Where the basics are much bigger then how they seem. Despite the wealth of it, it’s very modest. Even her family doesn’t flaunt it. Granted, they all have their jewels but they aren’t flashy about it. They wear specific pieces for special occasions.
The way things are done are also on the simple side which is why I think Caillen is having a tough time adjusting. I see her having tutors big time, in who she often forgets about or dodges to go about things her way. One instance her fathers soldiers are physical fighters. They’re big men who don’t have to rely on firearms to defeat their enemy. Canons help, otherwise it’s swords, axe’s, etc. She has actually fought along side of them on more then one occasion ( she does have scars but she keeps them covered from Will I’m sure he’s heard rumors about her though ).
I can go on lol. I’m beyond excited about this whole thing. It just got so much bigger lol.
