Peace

Don’t know if anyone will believe me. So I’m just gonna post it here where no one could read it...

I’ve been applying to jobs for the past 7 days. It’s just funny because I’m used to immediately getting hired. No, I get nothing. One week nothing.

I’m supposed to feel bad but I have peace. I haven’t really prayed this much since April 2020 but I it’s good to talk to God again. It’s so refreshing. I feel at peace that whatever happens, whether I get to save for the future or not, I know there’s a God who’s looking after me. :)

When you are left with nothing else but God, you'll realize then that only God is enough...

Inspirasyon

Medyo matagal na rin akong hindi kinilabutan ng ganito. Salamat, Gary Granada. Narinig ko na naman ang UP Naming Mahal. Ilang araw na kasi akong nangangamote at hindi ko alam paano ko itutuloy itong mga isiunusulat ko. Akala ko madali lang, hindi pala. Naalala ko, hindi ko ito ginagawa para sa sarili ko. Gagawin ko ito #ParaSaBayan.

Naalala ko n’ong unang taon ko sa kolehiyo, ang sabi ko, maglilingkod ako sa Pilipinas. Madalas akong nagsusulat ng mga tula para sa kanya. Ngayon, magsusulat ako ng siyentipikong papel.

God is in control

Life may be super chaotic. The things you used to have, can suddenly be gone—your expectations, unmet with an unfortunate reality. But despite all the chaos, God is in control. Even if you don’t deserve grace, He will give it to you—even if you’re not worthy.

There could be things that you don’t really appreciate—your health, your job etc. There could be people whom you take for granted—your family, your friends and even the company guard who helps you carry your car or truck load.

Take this season as an opportunity to appreciate these, because you will never know how sooner or later these can be taken away from you. Appreciate the small things. Look at the brighter side than the negatives. And if you’re not as joyful now, pray that God will grant you joy and peace despite your situation—because all things do happen for a reason, and whatever reason it may be, God is in control. He is in control of the present and the future. He should be in control of your heart.

Surrender everything to Him.

To be human is to be a servant — if not to the true God, then to something else.
