risky post for the main but i feel like every time someone says they struggle with their eating/have an unhealthy relationship with food, people always assume you don’t eat and that’s why i feel there needs to be more awareness with this type of thing because the amount of people who say “please eat something 🥺” like dude i do eat !! having disordered eating doesn’t JUST mean you’re starving yourself since it can range between loads of things and people always say stuff like “but you don’t look unhealthy (ect) ” like brother that’s like telling a person in a bad relationship “oh your partner doesn’t look like a bad person”

and while we’re on the topic i feel like it’s a huge misunderstanding that these issues always stem from vanity when it’s simply not true (majority of the time) it can seem like vanity causes it but when you look deeper normally the times when people fall into these habits are during horrible points in their life when everything spirals out of your control and you’re grasping at strings to try and regain SOME sort of control and routine in your life
