Realized tonight that I had been wearing a shirt with my name on it for a year and just now read the tag. This happened right after hopping out of the car and hearing a new song by Of Monsters and Men called Crystals. My universe is not a normal one and it's also not imagined sometimes and it really sends me on a spin sometimes. Life is always beautiful too no matter what people say.

The TV in my classroom keeps turning on. The kids say it turns on randomly occasionally but it has turned on 4 time repeatedly while I have been here. I know I have a weird effect on electronics because it's been so noticable before that others comment on it without me having to say a word. Like the music only stopping when I entered a room and doing so repeatedly when I came in. I also have a larger heat signature every time I visit a science museum and see myself in infrared. It has me wondering, mutant? I am an prefase of evolution or is my energy just intense? Can this even be tested?

Even though I look up to these people here are the things that #ElonMusk and #BillGates and even civilians who have always watched horror sci-fi films on AI have not yet realized. Ray Kurtzeil so far has shown a much greater understanding of these issues than I have seen thus far. What people fail to realize is that in a sense bringing fully capable AI is much like having a child. Nurturing it and teaching it basic morals and understanding and realizing yourself that #AI is an extension of yourself and of your own intelligence is crucial as someday you may be able to transcend your own biological limitations. This is the ultimate purpose for AI where the next step of our evolution will begin to murge even further with our technology to allow us to transcend the serious biological limitations of our evolution. I believe the way we will achieve this is with nanotechnology as #RayKurzweil has stated. This is coming from someone who has studied fairly extensively biotechnology.

She was my favorite character it makes me sad a lot of the kids now don't like the movies that much and it deters them from reading the books. Neither did I honestly the books are so SO much better I wish they would read them because the magic is so much like science and it shows the profound imagination of a writer like #JKRowling and again that fiction CAN shape real science and CAN be worth the read. ¤♡☆♡¤ ~<K3

Finally reading Ray Kurtzweil on the Technological Singularity and partly because lately I have been noticing us begin to reach the "knee of the curve" and actually so have others, some of the big minds noticing are Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Michio Kaku just to name a few. I feel it is going to be even more important for us to realize the next precautionary step and ahead of time which is upgrading the human being but that will require a lot more biotechnology than we have today and thus there will be a big need in the coming years to do so and we may need to educate the public and steer them to get their certifications and degrees in biotech. Many people are still unaware of what biotechnolgy is as a field and that is probably not good.... overall I remain optimistic but we need to be thinking about the issue just mentioned and take it seriously. This is why Elon and Bill gave warnings I believe. Neuroscience is still so untapped in many ways as well and understanding exactly what creates ans understanding and empathetic being will be too.
