My Villain Deku Headcanons
Deku does indeed start out as a hero. He keeps his aspiration to be hero up until he gets to U.A. thanks to the help of All Might. He even passes the entrance exam and everything.
He’s really happy when he realizes All Might will be one of his teachers.
He still loves heroes and he’s forgiven Kacchan for his harsh bullying in the past. He and Bakugou are sort of friends.
Deku literally loves Todoroki’s quirk. He’s always asking Todoroki about it, and what it’s limitations are. He helps Todoroki deal with his daddy issues early on, instead of during the tournament. Todoroki and Deku bond, and (not that he’ll admit it) Todoroki has a huge crush on him, because he’s so adorable and inspirational.
This bond makes Bakugou really jealous. He also likes Deku, and he likes Todoroki. He thinks they would be really hot together. (Get it, lmao. Two out of three have fire powers)
All of this happens before the U.S.J. incident.
During the invasion of the Villain League, their class is being attacked and shit, just like canon
None of the students are killed, but they are severely injured.
Todoroki and Bakugou are literally freaking the fuck out and All Might is like “What’s wrong boys.”
And here begins the villain!Deku transition
Once warping back to the League of Villains, Deku is immediately interrogated (tortured.)
Sensei figures out he is the successor to One For All
He’s fucking ecstatic, because holy shit ‘I can use this kid’
He tortures the lil bean and makes him believe that heroes are useless, and are only being heroes for their own gain
He lies to Deku, telling him that a hero killed his parents (with like a huge piece of stray debris from a fight.)
That hero being All Might
He then makes one of his lackey’s (some random bitch ok) take away most of his memories of before this.
Now all Deku knows is that All Might killed his parents and he wants fucking revenge
Kurogiri takes him under his wing and teaches him how better to use his quirk. (with the help of sensei, who is obsessed with the quirk One for All)
Deku is terrified of Sensei, because he still remembers the torture.
They attack Class 1-A again at one point
Todoroki and Bakugou are shooketh
They are happy to see Deku, thinking he’s just being held hostage
Until everyone realizes that he’s giving the enemy tips on how to defeat everyone. (He retained that information, he doesn’t remember anyone though..just their quirks)
All Might tries to coax him other to him.
Todoroki and Bakugou try to do the same, but Deku is just like
“How do you know me? Who are you?”
Todoroki and Bakugou are quaking
Tomura takes a step towards All Might and Deku fucking growls at him
“All Might is MINE! If anyone gets to kill him it’ll be me!”
