I was challenged by a friend to post one nature image a day for 7 days. This is day 1. "1000 years old" (Old olive trees in the South of France).

Marie Antoinette's estate/gardens. Throwback to May 21st, 2013, two years ago to the day. Spent the last day of the trip to France, at Versailles. The weather in NYC today had reminded me of the last few days spent in Paris. A bit of a chill in the air but no wind, gray skies and the smell of newly blooming flowers. Took a day trip to Versailles gardens during the last day there. Highly recommended if visiting Paris for 4 days or more. Puts the whole visit to France into perspective.

Hands Of Time - One probably wouldn't be too mistaken to generalize that most people enjoy seeing elderly couples hold hands or with arms linked. You never know what roads and hills they have traveled to make it to this point but in that moment it all feels so good. To be old and still remain loving and kind to each other. We do hope.
