artemis listens. they steady the peace in their mind, silencing all outside thoughts, quarrels, and prevailing thoughts and allow @eueclid to carry her to locations and topics she's never considered. when the world beyond them, beyond this small room, is so loud, it feels nice to actively search for the quiet. thane is good at providing it to her. he's good at talking... and very good at listening.

"ask joker for a blanket. hell, you can borrow his. it's not like he ever leaves that pilot's chair — he won't mind if his favorite blanket goes missing for the sake of our favorite drell."

He feels a shiver, an effect from his illness, but he doesn't share it, nor is it visible on his scaly skin. “ I like it when you visit. It keeps me from being alone down here. I must confess, I'm not used to having visitors. Being an assassin is... a lonely business. ” Thane admits, blinking slowly as he feels his pulse increase. What is this feeling?
