Listening to interviews with Ann Sophie is breaking my heart. Today during lunch I was listening to the radio and they had an interview with her and she said that she can’t believe what happened and that she is very sad. When she came back home her family waited for her at the airport and they all wanted to hug her, but she just wanted to be alone in that moment and really wasn’t in mood for hugs. She gave her first interview just 20 minutes after the final, and she seemed to be very strong and that she doesn’t care that much about getting 0 points. Surely because she still had a lot of adrenaline. But just now she begins to actually realize what happened, omg. And also the fact, that Germany didn’t even choose her to represent us… Remember Andreas Kümmert? He won the national final. Ann Sophie was just lucky he withdrawed. Poor poor girl.

Maybe the fact she wasn’t the favourite the reason she didn’t get many votes?

True, but regardless of how people thought of the entry I don’t think she deserved it. It’s really sad that she has to feel this way.

Turkey dont join this contest for two years because of this voting system. I think They are so right

I remember when they pulled out for that reason and I was so upset like come on Turkey it isn’t that bad! But know I see, they were wise. But they were so pissed off they literally created their own competition

Have you guys seen this? Nina Sublatti’s staging for the final was destroyed by the smoke machines malfunctioning? I thought it looked wrong when I watched it but here is the semi and the final side by side
