Yayyyy I finally finished drawing Jester's POV!!! It took so much out of me, both physically and mentally. I think I deserve a long break, so I'm challenging myself NOT to open Tumblr for 14 days>:) I want to take some time off and see how far my artwork can go on its own. (Though, honestly, it probably won't get much attention since I'm just a small artist who's somehow been a beginner for a whole decade.)

In the meantime, I also have plans to write a short 2P!Harlquin (aka Pink!Harlequin) fanfiction in a Dear Diary format. And... wow, I played the whole story out in my head, and it nearly made me cry all day.

For those who don't understand, the person who died was Jester's father. I wondered why Jester hated humans so much (as Destiny stated), so this became my headcanon. And yeah, his father was killed right in front of his eyes. While escaping, he accidentally fell off a cliff and hit his head on the rocks.

I was wondering about if the boys knew about dungeons and dragons would they be offended or want to play it? And if they played it what would their classes and alignments be? Would jester or harlequin be the dungeon master? (I know they both love story telling).

Thank you in advance!! And again I love your work and all you do for the fandom.

I think they'd find it fun if they have the patience or understanding for it.

I doubt that Jester, Harlequin, or TicketTaker would be enthused to play. Pierrot would be SUPER confused, but honestly, Doctor might get into it.

Harlequin could also get into it if you flirt with him during the game.

As for assigned classes, @darthsuki has answered this before as I am not savvy enough with the game to know how.

Thank you for notifying me! I like to take people at face value and try to look for ages on blogs and make it VERY clear that I am uncomfortable interacting with minors in any sort of, especially given the fandoms and content I'm connected to. I guess the assumption that most would respect that basic boundary is something I need to be a lot more pessimistic about. I like supporting artists, writers and other creators across a lot of topics, often ones that are very sensitive or otherwise very inappropriate for minors to be interacting with.

The Freak Circus is an adult game for those over the age of 18. I do not want to interact with minors with this fandom at all, that is a hard boundary and I make that abundantly clear.

I can't control other people on the internet and I don't inherently think minors should mark their blogs as such (that is something very dangerous, never mark yourself like that as there are people who will try to target) but god, that makes it so hard to feel comfortable to interact with random fans. Tiktok was bad enough, though it's not at all a far toss for tumblr and twitter to be the same.

It's just.... disheartening, especially when I just assume people will 'follow the rules' and I know that's just a strong aspect of my autism (and yes, I know it comes off very naive of me, but that's just the internet culture I grew up with).

So, going forward, I am not going to be directly interacting with people unless you have a clear age or some other indication of your age on your blog as being an adult. I cannot afford to have anything to do with minors in TFC for so SO many reasons— it is incredibly dangerous, uncomfortable, and arguably disrespectful since me and the rest of the TFC team have not at all made it a secret that we are adults and this is a game for adults.

short little read of a script my dear friend @ru-miere wrote for me on the spot some nights ago!! i have fallen terribly in love with acting out my own version of pierrot, putting every ounce of my being into his obsessive behaviour, and... trying not to method act my way into drooling all over my microphone...

Hellooo Destiny!!! do u have any headcanons about their preference?Isn't about body but about personality,we know TT like we follow the rules and obey.

Hmmm, my headcanons would be: Pierrot: wants someone to love him even as they see him for what he is. Truly accept him for who he is. He enjoys soft things like holding hands, cuddling, and cooking together. Harlequin wants someone to like him for just BEING himself and whose eyes will not leave his own, but he also deeply admires those who are genuine as this is difficult for him to be. He wants someone who makes him laugh, goes along with his menacing, and has entertaining expressions. Harlequin likes being dominant/flirty, but he might melt if you get through his facade and see the shy, small child he once was. Doctor: He wants someone who is comfortable with him, a person who won't run away. Doctor wants someone who won't find his demeanor/presence and quirks as off-putting but rather, as something to be treasured/admired.

TicketTaker: As you said, he wants someone who follows the rules, knows their place, is polite, and obeys. While he mainly wants these qualities in humans, he also admires it in other monsters. He wants, more than anything, to be seen as a true equal amongst monsters---not someone who diminishes others, looks down upon him, or causes trouble for their own selfish amusement.

Jester: For humans, he just wants a pet, but even that is difficult to achieve. He doesn't go for humans often, outside of carnal pleasures, as he doesn't like having to look over his shoulder in his own home to make sure you won't kill/betray everyone. In other monsters, he merely wants respect for himself and rules, though above all he demands loyalty. Prove your loyalty, kindness towards his family, as well as his authority and you, dear monster, have gained his favor. If you are human, you must know that this will take him much time to get over the trauma's of his past. Truly, he will never get over it, but you might be able to catch his eye if you surprise him in a positive light.
