Truly heartbreaking
Yawn [2018] - Bill Ryder-Jones
@lazulitrinket
Oh Grace, just hold me in your arms and let this moment linger
They'll take me out at dawn and I will die
With all my love, I'll place this wedding ring upon your finger,
There won't be time to share our love, for we must say goodbye

I remember T-shirt weather
I remember some days
We were singing our lungs out in the backseat together
And the seatbelts were burning our fingers
In the T-shirt weather
I remember sleeping till the early afternoon
Music review
With it being at the end of the year I thought I'd make my only review of 2018. I have three different categories. Top five albums, top five songs and also my top five bands (this part doesn't have to be solely from 2018)
I did this off the top of my head so my choices my change within the next 5 minutes. Plus my editing is absolutely dreadful for this.
2006
The euphoria, the joy, the tears
All caused of one goal
That blue jersey, that trophy. Magnifico.
But one thing was wrong
You weren't here
The one who taught me everything
But now, I just had memories
2006, what a year. Full of heroes
But my true hero was absent
Il mio Campione
This poem is about when Italy won the World Cup in 2006. My dad's side of the family are Italian. My grandad was born there. During the tournament he had a stroke and went into a coma and later he died.
This poem is me talking about how I felt seeing Italy win the World Cup, but how how it would've been better if my grandad was there to see it aswell.
Find a well known hard man
And start a fight
Wear your shellsuit
On bonfire night
Fill in a circular hole with a peg that's square
But just don't sit down 'cause I've moved your chair
I still can't get over that my mate met Alex Turner today. Of course he was in Sheffield the time I wasn't there because of Christmas. I'd give my life for that chance.
And in response to what you whispered in my ear
I must admit sometimes
I fantasize about you too
There's nothing much better than *watching Match of the Day and hearing that tune.
*I only watch it when Everton win
