Everest Engineering has bagged largest order to deliver 32 units of 12 tons, Topsky, flattop tower cranes from BG Shirke for Delhi Development Authority housing cluster.

Sharing details of the major order, claimed to be one of the highest in the Indian tower cranes industry, Mr. P.V. Ramdev, MD, Everest Engineering says, "The major order is the second one from BG Shirke followed by 86 units of flat top tower cranes required in the first phase of DDA's housing construction. As per the current situations in India, the growth is coming from the Real Estate sector which includes the low cost pre-cast housing also. More demand will be from 25-100 floor buildings which needs 10-16t range of tower crane due to shift in form work. For high-rise buildings with latest form work, the trend is towards the Luffing cranes and in some special case, the requirement is for Flat-top tower cranes.
