I am so so SOOOOO happy I was able to get this little creature from @bug-memory at Resin Rose this year!! I wasn't able to do any of the other orders and didn't know they'd be there and got SO excited when I saw Muriel! Probably embarrassingly so! I was obsessed with this opossum the moment I saw it and now she's home with me! Yay!!!

Static and Swap printed in resin. They still need some cleaning up but look pretty good, otherwise. I'll probably put the files up on Cults3D and Ko-fi after Resin Rose and will bring a couple of these to the convention. Printed Swap in gray rather than black, because I'm still having some issues getting a solid print without a lot of failures/waste. They can always be painted.

Not related to BJDs necessarily but I am excited to share some of my progress as far as 3D modeling has gone. I am a few classes out from finally finishing my bachelors and am currently taking a class on character design. Of course, I did have to work a TV head in there somewhere >w<

Do you have an Etsy shop?

Short answer, no. Sadly, I cannot set up an Etsy shop.

Longer answer, I think I talked about it on Tumblr when it happened, but for reasons they didn't explain to me (despite me asking to know what I did wrong), after I put my first file up for sale, I received a ban and when I appealed, even offering to take the file down, I was told my appeal was denied with no chance to appeal again.

I have a Ko-fi and a Cults3D site where I sell my 3D print files and those are linked in my pinned post. And while I typically have only sold full dolls or heads at events like Resin Rose, I'm happy to work with someone who wants to order something specific to ship directly.

Finally got some time between work and school to get this test print done on my new filament printer and other than a minor hiccup on the head plate with the magnet wells sealing over, the Swap head looks really great! I do need to see it on a body still, though It might be a bit too long in scale for a standard Kabbit body so I may need to shorten it. I was trying to keep it as accurate as I could manage in tinkercad but it does still need to be a functional doll head. All the magnet wells (that didn't get sealed up) seem to fit/align well, though so I should be able to get a couple of these in resin for Resin Rose.

Have finally had some time again to work on a few things, including the Switch inspired head and a redo of my original mushroom head, the first one I've done in Maya, so it's got a lot of nice texture and looks nice and organic, I love it! The Swap is about ready for a test print, as well, so I can hopefully bring both of these to Resin Rose this year and have them up on Cults soon. No new pics, but the TV head adjustment for SD is also still being worked on.

BUT I do have this! Joshybearhuggies over on Instagram had this fun suggestion for an objecthead so I have been very slowly work on this switch inspired head. I am also working on a resized version of the Wavelength v2 head for SD-sized dolls.

Me: Now that my class is finished and things are settling down school-wise, I should focus on finishing up resizing the Wavelength head for SD bodies and work on that Nintendo Switch head prototype.

My hyperfixations: Use your new found Maya and Mudbox knowledge to make a Cult of the Lamb chess set.

Had a little time to rework Elixa since the headcap just hasn't been working out the way I initially hoped it would. I set it up a bit more like my beer stein head wit straight edges, added more bubbles and some spillover. The spillover also kind of gives you something you can grip onto to lift the headcap so you don't need a piece taken out like the previous design.

Four magnet slots because they're only 3x2 mm magnets so I wanted to give some extra hold.

Since I'm still having troubles with getting Elixa's head cap to fit in the way I want, I think I might remake it a bit to be a bit more in line with Steinberg's (my beer stein). Essentially, something that goes to the edge maybe and has a flat base for the magnets instead of a slanted one. So it'll look more like a cauldron bubbling over, maybe? We'll see what I can come up with.

A couple of my dolls helping show off my entry for the prop contest at Resin Rose - a 1/3 scale Magic the Gathering match! It includes two playmats that both have some of my own art on them, two fully playable standard Magic decks based off my husband's mono-green treeefolk deck and my mono-red dragon deck. Two deck boxes for each deck and two life counters I sculpted to scale (they are so delicate I freaking broke the tree on one them like two times and it was such a pain to fix every time)
