Warning: obnoxious vanity ahead! lol
I know I should keep this to myself, but I’m literally going crazy only letting family members know, and Tumblr feels public but not so public that it’s tacky: I learned yesterday that I have a full scale IQ of 139 on the Wechsler Scale (anything greater than or equal to 140 is considered “genius”). Education raises IQ even higher, so I’m hoping grad school will improve my IQ. I can’t stop thinking about how wonderful it would be if my IQ rose to 146, the minimum necessary to qualify for the Triple Nine Society. My IQ was 130 in 2012 and, according to the neuropsychologist who tested me, rose so much because I outgrew ADHD (which seriously affects IQ) and because attending college was excellent for my brain. I plan to get a Master’s followed by a PhD, so that’s another six years of education to potentially boost my IQ further. Sorry, again, for this tacky post, but I feel like I’m going crazy not telling anyone other than family members lol
