No, I completely agree. You have to look at it as a completely separate entity when something goes from page to screen because it’s impossible to adapt something perfectly. Most of the changes they’ve made haven’t bothered me regarding the plot or the appearance of characters because you have to understand that they’re making a television show. What I’m not okay with is them just switching out someone who portrayed a character so nicely for an entire season for someone new.

Exactly! And honestly, it can't be fair at all to the actors either, right? Like... What reason did they have for getting rid of Ed? I would at least like an explanation that isn't "creative differences" because that's almost always just a load of bull.
