FRESH THOUGHTS: Back To Basics Hip Hop Festival

Last night, The Observatory in Santa Ana was home to one of the livest and most successful hip hop events, probably ever thrown in the venue, Back to Basics.

Club Mercy in conjunction with Out The House Productions brought a phenomenal line-up to the Back to Basics event catering to all underground (“non-commercial”) hip hop aficionados, with a list of artists consisting of: Rebels to The Grain, Souls Of Mischief, Ugly Duckling, Planet Asia, Strong Arm Steady, Fashawn, Zion I, Chali 2na, Blu, Evidence, People Under The Stairs, and The Visionaries. A myriad of Hip Hop lovers from all over Orange County, Los Angeles, and other neighboring counties and cities, came through to enjoy this two stage event. It was literally insane!
