Dulwich Residence by Naturehumaine
Admittedly in the past I was not the biggest fan of taking a traditional shell and converting it to modern. At least with the traditional aspects remaining afterward. But, I have switched gears over the past year and this house is stunning! And best of all it combines a traditional shell + all new modern construction. I would live here in a heartbeat.

Giant Leap rug by Permafrost
I have officially launched the Bevel Pendant, my first light fixture. The first of hopefully many more to come. This pendant idea came to me from my love for all things Scandinavian design. A design scene where the triangle and chevron are used as an everyday basic, which sits right at home with my taste! While working on many different (other) light fixture ideas to be my first, this one just sort of came to me almost by accident. So I just went with it and kept it simple. And in true Scandinavian fashion it is available in matte black. I drew up the design and put it into Solidworks to make sure all the parts were going to give me the results I was looking for. After some slight modifications I sourced the custom body (which is two separate parts) from a metal spinner (I found a new manufacturing love!) and the remaining stock parts & cord from a supplier. Then worked with a local powder coater. Tested the final piece and here we are!

Great Spaces TV has put together a fantastic video showing Four Freedoms Park which was Louis Kahn's last design before he died, and was only recently completely. It looks stunning and is now on my list of places to visit next time I'm in NYC. Check out their video.

House with Big Window by Alessandro Armando & Manfredo di Robilant
Translucent panels on the outside of this house allows visibility to some of the structure and much more light to enter the house. It is a unique look blurring the lines between a house and a greenhouse.
I've been thinking about bringing back the Spindle Bracelet but in another form: 3D Printing! I loved the original wooden version but because of assembly time it resulted in a very small run before I became burnt out on putting them together. Here are the first printed prototypes and they turned out really good. Some minor tweaks need to be done to the files and then I will order a small run of the red and black to start.
