White's Day | Ara & Yunho
Life had improved greatly for Yunho ever since he'd left the circus together with his best friend and the beautiful girl he could call his girlfriend. He'd found himself a job in a club standing behind the bar and shaking up drinks and cocktails for all the people coming by. It was exactly his kind of gig and he got to see Ara in the hours before and after when he wasn't sleeping. As more time passed, however Ara somehow stumbled upon some fashion photographer and gotten herself a job as a model. Encouraged by Hyoyeon, it seemed, who had shown up at their doorstep not long after and turned over all their lives somehow. Mostly because of how surprising Daesung responded to her arrival. Yunho left his friend's business to his friend most of the time, but when spilled pizza in the hallway was magically cleaned up by the time the girls returned - from what would turn out to be their visit to the model agency - he knew something more was up than what he would have expected from his friend.
And so, a horrible decision to tell Ara about his thoughts who in her turn told Hyoyeon later, the latter girl got herself drunk, decided to spit at Daesung and turn a nice free day he and Ara could have had into a 'let's have sex, worry about your friend and then have some more sex.' Until he'd discovered his ability to control who he influenced with his skill and who would remain untouched by his negation. Trying this out sadly put a little too much pressure on Ara and so he made sure to keep her snugly inside of the boundaries of his skill, negating her ability at all times with the littlest of efforts. And it was when he found himself on the couch together with one of Daesung's duplicates a little while later - in fact this was to be able to practice his skill, but it ended up being about having a talk - that he finally got to know a little more about his friend. Not only did Daesung tell him about a girl he'd been together with for four years but had even gotten married to at the age of eighteen, he also found out that the other did indeed care about the blond haired girl - whatever this meant in Daesung's vocabulary. What he also found out, however, or at least what he admitted there for the first time aloud to someone other than himself, was that he would marry Ara in an instant and that the only reason he hadn't proposed yet was that he didn't have the money for a decent ring nor did he know the girl's ring size.
But nothing much was done about that by him, because he first spent his time working to get better hours that would allow him to work the bar from 1 to 8, thereby leaving him still enough time to actually manage to see his girlfriend in the evenings when she was home from her shoots and the likes. Arranging that cost him a little bit of salary, so he had to save longer to feel able to buy a proper ring for his girlfriend and make her a decent proposal. Now all he needed after that was her ring size, of course, something he had another plan for to get in an inconspicuous way, a plan Daesung had actually formed in his mind.
So, on the morning of White's Day, Yunho came home from work with a smile on his face, prepared a good pot of coffee while taking a quick shower, and then went to wake up his girlfriend with the breakfast in bed. Along with the waffles and coffee there was a small envelope which had his White's Day card for her in it.
And tomorrow we'll go out to buy you a nice ring ;)

It was all he'd written inside, quick scribbles which were surprisingly easy to read. On the side of the platter with the breakfast and the envelope was a little box which held the set of jewellery (not too expensive but still pretty) which he'd picked out for Ara. The raw diamond earrings along with the silver necklace with a glass stone in it were pinched together on a small cushion inside of the little box, nothing else added to them. On the other side of the platter was, of course, the White's Day special white chocolate hearts that he'd gotten her because tradition demanded it of him.
