I am made for autumn. Summer and I have a fickle relationship, but everything about autumn is perfect to me. Wooly jumpers, Wellington boot, scarves, thin first, then thick, socks. The low slanting light, the crisp mornings, the chill in my fingers, those last warm sunny days before the rain and the wind. Her moody hues and subdued palate punctuated every now and again by a brilliant orange, scarlet or copper goodbye. She is my true love.

I honestly don’t care whose “mad” at the decisions i make. My life doesn’t affect you, even if we are friends. Even if you’re coming from a caring place being “mad” on me hanging out with someone you don’t think i should be hanging out with is stupid. I literally don’t care what you do nor do i ever try to voice out my opinions on your life. i’m sorry but why don’t you take a good look at yourself and what you do before you try telling me how to do my life lol. And if someone can’t accept me hanging out with someone who by the way hasn’t been a bad person to me, i can’t have you too close to me because i dont need negative vibes around me.

The lesson is to love yourself. To forgive yourself. To stop giving more than you have. To stop expecting too much from people. To find a way to live in light of your mistakes and preconceptions of love. To be open to what the future presents. To allow things to flow and fall. To break, crash, crumble. To rebuild. The lesson is to never undervalue the importance of self love. And, until you have mastered that, at least in part, to stay away from the things that damage you. I think I have finally understood where some of my pain has come from. I’m ready to move on. I’m ready for my next lesson.
