Bandersnatch is the only movie I’ve ever watched where it’s constantly telling you the main message, and you’re too blind to see it.

You’re so caught up in trying to help Stefan that you don’t realize you ultimately can’t. You have such a big stress on you the whole time to choose the right options, when in reality you’re choices are not yours. The storyline is already made. And Stefan talking about how he feels someone else is making his decisions is just a cover for the fact you honestly have no decision process.

The recurring message that no one is in control of their actions is not just about Stefan, but you too. They’re telling you this the whole time, and despite this you continue to try and find the best ending. But there is no best ending. Stefan has no happy ending, no matter what you “choose”

Whether you likes the endings, or you hate them. Bandersnatch is something not like anything else.
