For a moment, it looked like the smaller exo wasn’t going to accept his silent offer, at the moment, the titan wouldn’t have blamed him. He was about to lower his hand when he felt a smaller one touch it and before he knew it, their arms were linked and Aaron would have smiled. He was a war machine, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t be a gentleman.
He gave a thoughtful hum, hearing the answer to his question as they reached the exit. He made sure to hold the door before finally deciding to respond.
“I think it suits you.” He replied honestly, “Certainly more interesting than plain-old-Aaron. So, Cherry, is there anywhere specific you would like to go?”
“Suits me,” he chuckled, shaking his head, “I suppose...”
A crooked, barbed smile managed to cut through the distressed look on his face. Though it was mildly dangerous looking in nature, it was a smile nonetheless.
Better that than nothing, right?
“You know, if you have what you need, you’re welcome to carry on your way- but if you insist, I invite you to, well, escort me to the nursing unit,” glancing down at their intertwined arms as he spoke. Maybe accompany was a better word, but in all honesty he did feel a little bit, uh, baby-sat for lack of a better word. He couldn’t blame the man though.
As criminally cold as Cherry was, he’d probably do the same thing if the role was swapped, if not administer to Aaron himself where he could.
Half guiding and half letting the titan lead, he directed from the back wheel. At a new corner, he’d push or pull, whichever he needed to do to get them to where they needed to be.
“Hopefully your .. fireteam, is it? Won’t be too sour about you being missing like this. I’d hate for you to get in trouble for my sake.”
