muse:   we don’t care if people don’t necessarily take all our songs 100 per cent seriously. there’re of course serious tracks but we laugh a lot while recording most of the songs

what i think they mean: not taking themselves too seriously is big part of the bands charm: among many other elements, the sometimes silly and weird music videos, the intentionally cheesy rock moves in their live performances and the general “i’m just taking the piss” attitude makes the “muse experience”  unique
