Due to some meddling by way of Regina, an amnesiac Melinda finds herself in an arranged marriage with The Professor. She’s trying to cope while living in Storybrooke. Maybe she still can find her happily ever after. Not every happily ever after is as you remember the story being.
Arranged Marriage AU
The Professor nodded in agreement. “Yes, of course,” he said. In some of his travels, he had seen cases where strangers who were forced into an arranged marriage who later became passionate about each other, like a couple of his friends: Ned and Catelyn.
“Yes, yes,” he then added, as he moved to the couch and sat down. As he did, he untied his tie and undid a few buttons, to make him more comfortable.
Melinda had to strip down from the very long white dress and changed into a dress she felt more comfortable in. A long sleeved red dress that reached her knees and she could run in if she needed to. She slipped into a pair of hose and some boots and then took her hair down from its ellaborate design. “Oh thank the heavens those are out,” she said when she came out of the bedroom. “There we go, back to rights.” She said with a smile approaching The Professor.
She intended to give him a chance at least.So she would be pleasant, though her hands itched to be busy in the kitchen or some drawing or painting supplies.

The Professor walked through the abandoned seafood factory. He had been wondering where Melinda had been all day, and he had finally tracked where she was. He followed the trail to the factory and walked down the dark hallways, til he heard muffled screaming. Following them, he saw Melinda, and went over to her, ungagging her mouth before untying her hands and legs. “You’re safe now…”
“Be careful! It’s a trap!” Melinda immediately found herself saying. From three different spots there stood men with guns pointed at them. They were chubby and dare one say it ‘piggish’. Melinda recognized the men, the three little pigs. They had been nobles before, too fat and cruel. Nothing like the nursey rhyme. The wolf should have eaten all three of them, an idle thought had appeared in her head.

The Professor was watching an old movie (Its a Wonderful Life) on Television with Melinda, when he began to feel tired. It was getting late and the Professor had had a long day. Yawning softly, he leaned over to Melinda, where he rested his head on her shoulder and fell asleep.
It wasn’t Melinda’s favorite movie and clearly one of those movies where you became bored very easy but she tried to not let anyone else know that. She couldn’t help it, she smiled at The Professor when he fell asleep on her shoulder. She tried to relax herself. She wondered if she shouldn’t just orb the both of them into their beds. She decided it wasn’t worth the effort (which wasn’t very much at all), Melinda made herself comfortable but she did orb a pair of blankets on them with warming added to them. She let herself nod off.

“Um, Mel, I can kind of need some sisterly advice. Think we can go for a cup of coffee or something? You know away from parental units and all.”
“Does it involve a boy? Please not anything illegal!” Mel pleaded her sister. “Or you know, anything that will get us both in trouble,” she hoped.
Arranged Marriage AU
After he finished unzipping the dress, the Professor looked up at Melinda. “Well, for now, the Professor is fine,” he replied. Sensing her thoughts that she too was uncertain about this marriage, he continued. “This isn’t exactly what I wanted either. But I’m sure we can make this live-able.”
Melinda nodded, “Who knows maybe it will be better for the both of us than we’re thinking?” She had no idea what the Evil Queen was thinking, forcing them into this situation though she wondered if this wasn’t a twisted way to give a happy ending. It wasn’t secret that in the Enchanted Forest, she had helped Snow White hide a couple of times but Melinda was still the woman who remembered nothing.
“I’ll go get changed into some proper clothes for this conversation. Last thing I want to do is flash you when I get talking, I tend to talk with my hands.”

Melinda isn’t a particular physical person in a relationship. For example, in verses like “a couple of whitelighters”, Melinda and David didn’t have sex until the wedding night. He respected her desire for no sex at that juncture in their relationship and she respected that he wanted to wait until after they married. It doesn’t mean they weren’t extremely affectionate, they ustn’t engage in sex. Melinda prefers to have a meaningful relationship with someone before sex happens. After that, then she can turn into a deviant. But she isn’t the type to cheat or have one night stands. It’s just not in her nature.

In verses concerning Bri’s David Nolan, Melinda has zero shame. He doesn’t seem to have any at all in regards to her either.
