How To Drive Yourself Crazy
To drive yourself crazy is similar to stepping out of the sheets of your comfort zone, hence, your craziness will skyrocket you to places you've never been, and even the most topsy-turvy scenarios will seem normal.
First off, shake your head a bit to at least excite your brain cells. Jump around your room, and feel the air that whips past your velvety cheeks. If possible, bath with your clothes on, and sing songs that could actually make your voice hoarse. Burst every bubble you see, and get out of your bathroom with soap in your eyes. Feed your stomach with the most scrumptious meal you have in your fridge, but to put a twist, make sure it's twice as hot as the summer weather, and sprinkle heaps of red hot chili peppers all over your food.
Second, step out of the premises of your house wearing the dorkiest clothes you have from your closet with a fancy Afro-like wig on your head. Be thrifty don't ride any public transportation, instead, exercise yourself by just walking towards wherever you're heading to. In that way, people will notice you. It doesn't matter if people laugh at you because that's the normality of being crazy. Fall in love with a stranger, and experience your very first heartbreak. Let someone pick the broken pieces of your disrupted heart, and make that person cry in pain, just like how your first did to you. Liberated as it actually sounds, do not fret. Just like how the cliché mantra goes, "You only live once." Therefore, you should do the things you thought you could never do.
Lastly, enjoy the freedom you have while it lasts. Life would be downright monotonous if you don't act foolish even for once. Live. Laugh. Love.
Nothing lasts forever, darling; and so does summer.
This year's summer was nothing like the one I had a year ago. Instead of chilling in the beach, I stayed in a room for weeks writing essays and killing my brain by memorizing tons of headline vocabularies; rather than driving a jet ski, I conquered my fear of riding the jeepney all by myself; instead of diving into a 10 ft. deep water, I dove unto the volleyball court whilst receiving a ball; but of course, like any other vacation, I've met and made a lot of friends without forgetting the ones who were always there.
Unlike before, I bid goodbye to Summer 2013 sans regrets, grudges, bitterness, and sadness. It just came to a point when I realized that what happened last summer will stay on that summer with the memories I have made etched on my heart. I won't let them sabotage me from enjoying my second to the last year in high school. I shall and will leave them all behind from the comforts of the past, and welcome the present and the future with loving and tender arms.
I've made countless of promises before stating that I will be active here on Tumblr. Unfortunately, none of them have I ever fulfilled. I won't promise, but I'll try, to at least stop being on hiatus. It's time for me to shine! Kidding aside. Whatever happens, I will never leave this trusty blog of mine. Never will I ever do so. Even if the 4chan jerks come back again. Never.
Adios, summer. Till our paths cross again.
I'm a fifteen year old lass who probably fancies braids than flower crowns and roots for procrastination than productivity. Boredom usually leads me to asking someone to braid my hair for me and slacking off until the day ends. Watching random videos on the internet, reading, eating junk, and bugging people off are just some ways of how I waste a precious day. Normally, I would go out of our household and hangout with my peers and not go home till nighttime, but on days when I've got nothing but an empty pocket and my energy is at its peak to croak, I transform and become a wimpy introvert.
I'm a kid whose happiness is limited not the I'm-about-to-die kind of limited it just happens that the thing I love to do most is the thing I'm not supposed to do. Without going in details, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Life isn't easy for someone like me, but I always keep in mind that regardless of who I am, what I am, or what I get, I should always appreciate what needs to be appreciated.
The moment I wake up or right before I sleep, I never forget to tell myself to keep moving forward. Regardless of the fact that there's no assurance, with passion, determination and effort mixed in the same bowl, I can achieve my dream. At the moment, I am in the midst of pursuing a dream I've had for 6 years now. I try my best to convince the people around me that I am not as weak as what they think, in fact, I am stronger than how I seem. Gladly, I was able to muster up all the courage and strength to persuade them.
I don't think of it as a success, but a catalyst instead. This is the part where I chase my dream instead of waiting for it to come true; the part where I prove my capabilities; and this is the part where I should never think of failing.
You see, it's all in the mentality of a person. If you keep thinking you can't do it, well then, that sucks for you. In the end, you'll fail without even trying; but if you trust in yourself that you can do it, hats off to you, because you can. I know for sure that you can because you tried, and if you tried, well you succeeded.
Never lose hope. Keep moving forward because life does not and will never stop for anybody. Think positive and let go of the negativity that downgrades you.
"When you're fifteen, somebody tells you they love you, you gotta believe them," they say. But I'd like to think otherwise. When you're fifteen, you get to the point where you think about what's ahead of you. Just a few more twists and turns, and it's time to man up. No time for puppy loves and being gullible.
For me, when you reach that age, it's time to shake off your immaturity, and focus on what's important: God, family, studies. Don't be intimidated with your mates who have what they call "love life" or the like. Bitter as it seems, boys aren't as vital as what teen girls think they are. Making them your inspiration isn't a valid excuse, I guess. Your family and friends and most especially Him are already enough for an inspiration. Don't go beyond your boundaries just to hop on the bandwagon.
At fifteen, learn how to speak your mind, defend yourself, and stand for what you think and feel is right.
For days I have been gone, for weeks I have been lost, and for months I have been uninspired and that's all because of one reason: I was in utter confusion. Confused with the things going on around me, confused with how to deal with my dilemmas, and confused with what's best for me.
At drastic times when I just feel completely alone, I look down on the necessity of sleep and hunger. My brain goes haywire and I choose to starve myself and stay awake the whole time. My mind is a total paradox especially when I feel edgy. But as days became weeks, and the weeks became months what I thought was a misery turned out to be the bliss I was and am yearning for.
Now that my happy days are soon to be over, I can't help but ponder on what the future has in store for me this school year. As I set my feet on the hot and solid ground of the school where I spent almost half of my life in, I felt nothing but a mixture of excitement and nervousness.
My blog has witnessed my immature days, downfalls, achievements, and the like; starting from when I graduated grade school and my beginnings in high school. This year, I hope to be able to share more with my readers who never cease to keep up with my nonsense rants and thoughts.
Can't wait to blog about my sister's 18th birthday. We had a simple yet fun celebration at home together with close relatives and friends. It was indeed one of the best house parties held here at home. With the disco lights giving life to our garage, the upbeat songs to rock the floor, and the sumptuous food to fill our tummies, what more could go wrong? :-)
One of my basic yet most important mantras in life is "Never give up. Just think that giving up never really existed." As much as possible, I try to remind myself every time I wake up to never back out and just keep moving forward. No matter how bumpy the ride is or how curvy the line is, just go on. I keep in mind that if you have the perseverance, determination, and discipline you will go far, even farther than the moon.
Despite the obstacles you may face in your journey, never let them pull you down; instead, make them your motivation to go push yourself higher to the limit. Do not be intimidated with the people who you think are better than you. Because if they are truly good enough, then that's just an assurance that you can be better than them. With just a little faith, you'll never go wrong.
Happy Mother's Day to my ever loving and ever gorgeous hero, my mom my super mom. Thank you for everything, Mama. Cliché as it always sounds, words will never be able to describe and express how grateful and lucky I am to have a mother like you. You may have your flaws, but you never fail to sugarcoat them with the unconditional love you give to us your treasures.
You have always been there for me good and bad; better and worse; best and worst. Despite the predicaments we have faced and are currently facing in this life we are living, you still remain strong and upbeat.
I know I've said this a hundred of times already which is why it sounds irksome to your ears, but Mama, I'm really terribly sorry for the things I've done wrong that have displeased and disappointed you.
I may not be perfect nor a tad bit near to perfection, but it makes me giddy to know that you are still there to embrace my imperfections, and help me hone up my so called talents. You believe in me as much as I don't believe in myself. The more I downgrade my capability, the more you encourage me. It's ironic, but, hmm, let's say it's a positive kind of irony.
Well, Mama, this is super long already, and you know how much I want to make this longer.... but won't it seem like I'm "nagpapasipsip" only? Kidding aside. I love you to the depths of my supernatural heart! I know you love me so much even though I always fart whenever you're around.
I love you my dear mother. I love you so much. I love you to infinity and beyond. I love you to the moon and back. I...wait, did I just say I love you? Because I do love you Mama!
Sticks and stones may probably break my bones, but your words will never hurt me. Granted, that they may haunt me, but believe me when I say that I'll never, even just once, allow them to overthrow me. I don't care if you think of me that way. You're not the only person in this world, anyway. I know my stand, and hope you do know yours too. I honestly have no idea what's gotten into you. I just hope you change, and if ever you do, make sure it's for the better. You don't know how much damage you could cause to a person's feelings. Please be reminded that not all are like you tough, arrogant, brave, insensitive, and the like.
I don't want to get mad at you nor loathe you in a way that things will become awkward between us, but you're giving me no choice.....
Through the days I've been alone, I couldn't count how many times I've asked myself, "Why you? I mean of all the people, why does it have to be you?". The reply I get from my brain never satiates my being. I don't know why I crave for more, but every time I do, I end up feeling disappointed. Maybe there's hope, but that tiny thing can't sum things up. I'm holding on to a thread as thin as air.
You confuse me too much, and I hate it. I just do.
She smiles with evident fear in her eyes. She laughs hard, but deep inside her is a hollow soul. She tries her best despite the level of difficulty. She stands up and thrashes down the obstacles that come her way. She pushes away others even if she doesn't want to. She never lets her guard down, but does in the end, anyway.
Honestly, she's a brave one with a coward ego.
You don't need to be in love to write about love; sad to write about sadness; or happy to write about happiness. It's all about what you have inside your mind. It doesn't matter if you're a pro or a neophyte. Just write what you want to write, and never stop until your brain starts ticking off. If you feel like you're running out of ideas, pause for awhile and relax. Don't feel inferior with the people around you. Learn to please yourself first, and the rest will have to wait. Never ever demand for an inspiration for it will come unexpectedly; and do not pressure yourself.
Go on. Get your pens and papers and write whatever tickles your fancy.
I am simple. I am weird. I am perky. I am awesome. I am immature. I am whoever I think I am. I don't care what others say or think about me because what matters most is my perception of myself.
You should always remember that it is beyond important to accept who you are and embrace your flaws. No one can judge you but yourself and Him. Your imperfections don't describe you, your inner self does. That's why you should just be yourself, so that others will know who you truly are.
Be happy and be yourself. Never be fooled by the thoughts of others. You are who you are, and no one change that. Keep that in mind.

As random as my puerile mind are these pictures. I need to get as much ZZZ's as I probably could. I'm living a zombie-like life. Blame boredom.
Behind her every smile is a wounded soul. She isn't as strong as you think she is, nor as brave as you feel she is. You may see her stand still with both feet on the ground, but that isn't an assurance that she's okay. There will always be a deeper and more profound definition of each "It's okay. I'm fine." she says. You may see her take all the risks and chances she get, but that's not a guarantee that she doesn't feel uneasy with every step and choice she make. There will always be a part of her that will hope for things to fall into place without any trouble.
The truth is, she is not who you think she is. She's probably just wise enough not to show the real her to you. Because for her, it would be better if you get to know her genuine self all by yourself. Just so you know, she is good in concealing her true emotions.
