Just a heads up!!!

I’m not updated with any food fantasy news, new game mechanics and stories. I stopped playing the game (religiously) during Salmon Roe’s release on the EN server.

I just really love Sanma, that’s why I lurk around from time to time to check if there’s a new event/update that will include him so that I can start playing again. (The new mechanics and characters are hard to grasp, I rather do it in one go)

Hello.

I was wondering if you lovely people could please comment or reblog with any info about your own personal experiences with Vocaloid, like how it affects you on a personal level.

I was collecting personal responses for a Social Studies project that is essentially a topic of my choosing. (Guess what I chose/rhet). This will be part of the more subjective part, simply put how Vocaloid affects people in society. I will mark all answers as anonymous in my presentation unless otherwise specified. I unfortunately cannot compensate you financially as this is a school project.

It doesn't have to be specifically Vocaloid, it could also be CeVio, Utau, etc.

Sure! For me vocaloid made a huge impact on my art during my highschool years! I remembered I would often draw pieces that are inspired from vocaloid songs. Honestly looking back at it now those pieces are the most creative ones I made because I would always make them with the thought of turning them into an animation (animatic or PMV) or a painting (I used to do traditional drawings back then). And I guess because of that I always wanted to improve my art more so I increased my practice. It also got me to try MMD (but I gave up lol). I mostly listened to GHOST and there was a time where my art mostly resembled theirs because I wanted to replicate it in my style.

To sum it all up, vocaloid made me more creative.

I came across her name while skimming through my pharmaceutical chemistry notes and ended up spending the next hour reading about her: she's Tu Youyou, a pharmaceutical chemist who won the Nobel Prize for medecine in 2015 for discovering of artemisin, an effective antimalarial drug.

Interesting facts about her:

She's the first Chinese Nobel Prize winner who studied and conducted her research without ever leaving China.

Her father picked her name while he was eating a dish based on the same plant she would later study and extract artemisin from (what a coincidence!)

She traveled across China and met many experts of Chinese medical science throughout her research. She considers her discovery "a gift to the world from traditional Chinese medicine".

She volunteered to be the first human to test the effects of artemisin.

Her research began to treat soldiers during the Vietnamese war.

I've procrastinated my studies, but I'm glad I found out about this amazing women ❤️

I’m so heartbroken over the news that I haven’t been able to say anything on the matter.

It’s intolerable that someone who has given others so much has to sacrifice his personal life over and over again. I heard some people saying “he should leave japan” or “he should quit skating and disappear” but he shouldn’t have to do any of those things unless he wants to. He deserves to have a rich life where he can follow his passion and have the people who love him and that he loves around him. He deserves to live a normal happy life, we all do. We all have the right to happiness.

Not only has this right been stripped from him, he’s also getting slandered and speculated about after his statement, as if he’s to blame for what happened when he and his ex wife are the victims.

It’s a good thing that a lot of people are talking about the absurd infringements of privacy celebrities are victims to, especially in Japan. I hope that things can change, even a little bit.

One part of me wants to hope that they’re still together and this is something they’ve decided just to stop the media from harassing them, but I don’t know if that’s realistic.

I truly hope Yuzuru can find his happiness and a way to protect it, because he deserves the world. I hope that the joy he has gifted us so many times goes back and stays with him forever.

And I’m taking advantage of it!!! I haven’t drawn for quite a while (haha 2 years…I haven’t touched my sketchbooks in 2 years…☹️ ). I’ll start drawing again both digitally and traditionally (hope for the best), and the main subject will be Sanma! Soo I’ll be having this “Sanma Doodles” as a motivation to draw more.
