One minute Mindy was talking about fighting him, the next she was pinned to the wall, and kissed by him. She was shocked to say the least. “One you are pretty strong, and two…wow.” She honestly didn’t know what else to say. She was still surprised he kissed her.

"Well I think they should of taught you anyways. You are a guy, you are going to have urges. The military needs to get to grip with reality." She laughed and pushed some hair behind her ear.

"Well if you don't tell him and I don't tell him, he won't kill you." She sighed and nodded. "Yeah I know he loves me. He shows it in such a weird way but he is adorable."

She studied his face and gave him a slight smile. "Well thank you. If I was him I would want me too." She laughed and started to tie her hair back in a pony tail.

“What the hell are you talking about!” Zach snatched the pictures from him. “It was a football hazing!”

Mindy gave him a slight evil look. "You know who I'm talking about Zach. My dad, you know the one who would kill you if every hurt me." Mindy pressed her lips against his. Feeling of reassurance hit her.

The moment Adam pulled away he was like a deer in the headlights, almost confused and shocked at his own actions. “I– I don’t know– Shit,” he took his arms from her shoulders, stepping back from her and shaking his head as if trying to clear all his thoughts. 

Though Mindy’s words were nice to hear, it still didn’t change just how he felt at being so abrupt with her. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be so…forward with you,” he explained quietly. “They don’t teach this sort of thing in the military.”

When he stepped back, she straightened herself just a little. Mindy watched him have a mini freak out. It was something she never seen anybody freak out like that. Especially someone like Adam.

"It's okay, honestly it just caught me off guard is all." Mindy shrugged a bit and gave him a warm smile. "What don't they teach you in military school? How to kiss a girl? Or how to talk to a girl?" She joked trying to lift up his spirit a little.
